I was an avid watcher of Real Time for years until Bill drifted into RFK,jr anti vax lunacy and was promoting diet and exercise as an alternative treatment for folks with significant psychiatric disorders.

I'm the opposite, I find no comfort in his outward persona being a fake show for the cult. He should be genuine in his public appearances.

Wait he and kid rock both believe that people shouldn't be hurting insults? So kid rock is different in private also? Lord knows he's hurled enough insults. Sometimes using an AR.
 
I didn’t make it past 2 minutes of the video, but is it really that surprising that 2 grumpy old men would get along over dinner?

That was very interesting, but only adds to the confusion.

I do agree that both sides need to talk.

Yea, we've seen all the fox news clips, it's clear "alpha male" is this months talking point, they simple repeat over and over a they did with "art of the deal" when he was first lying about all the countries kissing his ass to make a deal.

God, the dialogue was awful, as was the book, but at least the movie was only 2 hours long. Visually very pleasing, though, very much including a young Patricia Neal in her first screen appearance. But man, that dialogue, and just the whole stupid premise of the whole goddamn thing, same with all the rest of Rand's tripe...

I've never watched the movie, but I read the books. At one point I was so in agreement with those that pointed to Atlas Shrugged as an example of how government over-regulation impacts society. I'm happy to say that I've learned and grown past that phase in life.
