How much of that terrible shot selection, inefficiency scorer, etc. came from being the one (typically) asked to jack up a 3 late in the shot clock after the set had broken down? I'd be willing to wager a lot. Yes, he did take a shot or few each game that you wished he didn't, bad shots, but so do a lot of players, many of which you'd never call a cancer. Yes, he did take some plays off on defense, so did a lot of others on his UNC team. I'd be willing to bet that going from preseason #1 to bubble team, very quickly, with no signs that your staff have any answers, led more to the playing with no joy on that team. You seem to be putting all bad things that happened while he was here directly on his shoulders, while also calling him a team cancer. I disagree. I think he took a lot of heat, much like EC did, that he shouldn't have. Finally, even if you still disagree with everything I've said, how often do team cancers on one team suddenly stop being team cancers when they move over to another team? Typically, players who truly are cancers remain cancers. He was not what anyone would call a cancer at Zona. Keep in mind Coach Rob decided to move there with him.
