Biorhythms for UNC v Michigan State Game, 4:30 Start

Has he done anything that has been a positive in this game . . ?
I must've missed it if he has . .
He’s had some good hands on loose balls and made one contested layup. Other than that, lots of bad decisions and bad play.

No one can hit a 3 and no bench. Same theme for the Heels as the last few seasons when they lose.

Put Luka at the point when Trimble comes back. Bring Evans off the bench. Unfortunately, they really don't have a great PG and no backup at all for the 3 to 5 positions. If Wilson and Veesaar aren't on they will struggle to beat good teams.

Number zero for us with awful turnovers, looking off Luka on key possessions, terrible fouls and overall soft play. Team needs to know their roles. We have threes primary options right now, Wilson, Vessar and Luka.

Horrendous three point shooting. If the simply make a third of their shots, it’s a completely different game. It’s really that simple. Oh well. Just not their day.

Their defense had a lot to do with that. Not very many wide open threes for us. We took an awful lot of contested shots and didn’t work it inside the way we have all season.

Paid 1.5-2 million for Kyan Evans and he’s a basic no show every other game while our former point guard hated our coach so much he left and had 13 assists for the best team in the nation. So ready for this on the job training to be done

Well, it's a game we can certainly learn from...

- We've got to shoot better from 3, 17% is abysmal.
- We've got to rebound better.
- We've got to stop teams from getting good shots, we gave up so many shots 8' and closer to the basket.
- We've got to figure out some way to manufacture points in the half court.

That was ugly over the 8 minutes. Really, really ugly.

Also, we've got to figure out the backup 5 situation as neither Brown nor High are it. It's almost going to have to be Stevenson and we might as well get to it.

The University of North Carolina: Where shooters go to die.

Kyan Evans, 40% last year. Comes to UNC, can’t shoot.

Luka Bogavac: 40% in Euroleague. Comes to UNC, can’t shoot.

Jonathan Powell: 35% last year. Comes to UNC, can’t shoot.

Cade Tyson: Considered the best shooter in last year’s portal. Comes to UNC, can’t shoot. Leaves for Minnesota, suddenly learns to shoot again.

The question has to be asked, what the fuck is Hubert doing to kill the confidence of his perimeter shooters? One of the all-time great shooters doesn’t seem to have a clue how to coach shooting.

I think it’s a micromanaging of things, constant set plays, and deference to 1-2 favorites
