Biorhythms for UNC v Michigan State Game, 4:30 Start

Their defense had a lot to do with that. Not very many wide open threes for us. We took an awful lot of contested shots and didn’t work it inside the way we have all season.
They’re an excellent defensive team. A lot of perimeter shots were contested, but they set up a number good looks that just didn’t fall. Perimeter shots just weren’t falling, contested or not.

Offense looked a lot like year's past for long stretches. Couple that with shooting 17% on 23 3pt. attempts and letting MSU get easy offense, and it's hard to win.

Paid 1.5-2 million for Kyan Evans and he’s a basic no show every other game while our former point guard hated our coach so much he left and had 13 assists for the best team in the nation. So ready for this on the job training to be done
Cadeau, Jackson, Trimble, Wilson, Veesaar, Luka and Stevensen would be a better team for sure. Evans provides no offense and now they have no backups for the 3 to 5 spots.

WTF are you drooling down your chin about a lineup no one could have pulled off? Damn, if I was going to have that sort of unbelievable fantasy ,it wouldn't be about basketball. I'd ask what was wrong with you but I'm afraid you'd tell me.

cadeau is basically exactly the same guy he was, at least according to stats. Fewer assists, a couple of made 3s but he will regress there. He's not the answer.

Evans shot 44% from 3 last season. He's struggling now, but let's see how he's doing in a few weeks.

It's hard to judge too much a game that was played on a skating rink.

Cadeau is playing 20 mpg, he still can't shoot, he's getting fewer assists than he did last year, still committing dumb fouls and committing TOs. Look at his stats -- they are slightly worse than they were last year.

Cadeau was overrated from the beginning. He was hyped because he was an old-for-class player in a weak recruiting class. So he was the #1 PG almost by default. But once he reclassed, he was probably no better than top 40, and he hasn't improved.

Evans is a good player. He just needs a little time to get his groove.

Not sure about Evans. Think they are still in need of a better PG, more 3s, and a backup for the bigs. It really drops off after the starting 5 now and Trimble.

cadeau is a much better fit for current personnel than evans imo. Obviously, Cadeau wouldn’t play another year for Hubert and/or Hubert wanted Trimble and the cadeau/trimble backcourt wasn’t a good option so it’s a moot point.
Just have always thought it was weird to basically tie your career to evans (who was a CG at Colorado st) and i think this significantly limits our ceiling.
Willing to forgive the shooting given the lighting in the gym, but we were physically dominated by them

This was always going to be one of the toughest games early in our schedule, especially with Trimble out. They didn't play well, but I still think this is a much better team that what we had last year and that we're still going to have a very good season if we can stay healthy, especially when Seth returns. And as some others have said, I'd love to see MSU again in a March rematch.

I don't remember Manek ,Lubin or Withers showing that much overall six games into the season. Got to play them some to get them ready for the long haul.

That's sorta how I feel about it.

Trimble was our experienced power piece - he’s not there now. His temporary loss changed the plan significantly.

His return will again change things.

We’ve got to deal with it. Lots of people are being asked to alter, shift, and do new things.

It is the game.

Wow, couldn't watch the game because of family things.

I checked the score and it was 55-52, so I felt pretty good, damn what happened that last 8 minutes?
