I highly doubt Trump’s staff shares bad internal polling data with him.Trump's press conference suggests to me he knows he is going to lose based upon his own internal polls.
So somber, low energy, no optimistic bravado...

That's probably true, but it's also true that he might read between the lines when there is no good polling data provided.I highly doubt Trump’s staff shares bad internal polling data with him.
Trump can barely read the lines. I doubt he has any capacity to read between lines. That's probably true, but it's also true that he might read between the lines when there is no good polling data provided.
A level of introspection and thought that malignant narcissist has never come close toThat's probably true, but it's also true that he might read between the lines when there is no good polling data provided.
I expect his staff gives him a 1-page memo once or twice a day with “polling numbers” on it.That's probably true, but it's also true that he might read between the lines when there is no good polling data provided.

Those “numbers” show Trump leading.

yeah, the increasingly hostile rhetoric and crazy nonsense coming out of that movement on almost an hourly basis at this point doesn't exactly indicate confidence in their position. There is a reason his campaign has shifted from the economy to full on MAGA hate speech.
Oh, I think I get what he's saying. The post used the words "race cross tabs" counter-intuitively. The poll lets you drill into cross tabs among white voters for graphs by education level, religion, etc. He's saying that those cross tabs suggest that Kamala will win. I don't know why. This doesn't make sense. If the results are showing Trump winning some states, and the poll is overestimating Kamala among whites -- I don't know, that doesn't seem like a great trade even for more black votes given the numerical advantage. So how do we get from that to Kamala sweeping?
That's probably true, but it's also true that he might read between the lines when there is no good polling data provided.
Dammit, you beat me to it...Trump can barely read the lines. I doubt he has any capacity to read between lines.
