Anyone else enjoying cow college at UVA?

ETA: UVA 90, cow college 61
I believe they gave up 58 points to UVA in the second half. They've lost two of their most recent games by 41 and 29 points.

And yes they looked like world beaters against us, but given the circumstances that's not really a surprise. In fact, as far as Wolpfact nation is concerned beating us made their season a success, and many of them likely don't care what happens the rest of the way, just as in football. I do hope we meet them again in the ACC tourney with a healthy Caleb and Veesaar, because if so I really like our chances.

Oh, and go to hell State.

Watched the game and State players, Copeland in particular, really do reflect the jerk personality of their coach. It wasn’t just our game at State that brought out the assholiness.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this or not and I know at this point I'm tilting at windmills but to me college basketball is broken with players changing teams every year - what I would like to see in my perfect world would be for the G League to become a true minor league for basketball and then for players coming out of high school have something similar to what we have in baseball - you can go straight to the pros but if you choose to go to college you can't re-enter the draft for 3 years - and also go back to the old transfer rule

I would love this. I don't mind the players getting paid, but I think the transfer rules now have made things worse, and think they should be able to go pro out of high school.

The NBA would have to create such draft rules. The MLB mandates the “go pro out-of-high school or wait three years” draft rules.

The NBA would also have to create a more robust farm league system.

I expect the NBA likes the current system with colleges supporting the minor leagues just fine.

Oh I know what I posted was a fantasy - I totally get it that the NBA or the NFL for that matter have no desire to create a true minor league system when the colleges basically do it for them
