ND AD Pete Bevacqua's press conference today is nothing but him whining about being left out of the CFP and everyone that might have had anything to do with it.

But he's offering nothing in terms of what they might do in response except more whining.

ND is a bubble unto itself and there's no one there who hasn't fully drank the kool aid.

They genuinely seem to believe that without ND that college sports would simply fall apart and cease to exist.
 
Notre Dame's position is essentially that they should receive all the benefits of their football program being independent while also not suffering any of the drawbacks of that independence. Sorry fellas but that's not how this works.

Georgia was back to back national champion and lost the SEC Championship by 3 points. Went from #1 to #6....just shows a difference in the culture in the programs as to what went down in that Orange Bowl.

It’s pathetic but it’s sadly kinda the formula these days.

If something happens to you that you don’t like, just publicly and loudly bitch about it as much as you can. Best case you can maybe help influence the people that pull the levers to cave (in this case the CFP committee finagling the rules in ND’s favor for next time). If nothing else you’re at least playing to your fan base. It’s probably worth the trade off of getting laughed at for a week or two online.
