A&M checking in for roll call - HUGE one score win over Bowling Green this weekend. Colin Klein’s offense humming on both cylinders, and Elko’s bend and regularly break all-the-fucking-time-two-high-shell-four-man-rush-six-in-the-box defense clocking in at 51st nationally and 66th on 3rd down.

Feeling good. Feeling real good.

It’s Brent Venables 3rd season.

Kinda makes sense that your Sooners are getting better on defense and losing some on offense.
We have lost far more that just some on offense.

I didn't expect we would continue offensively as if we still had Riley but with the exception of a rebuilding year here and there we've been solid on offense for a quarter century. It wasn't just Riley.

There has been talk about how a lot of our RPO is not really what Littrell traditionally runs. He merged his offense with Lebby's. I think he needs to go to what he knows best. Plus I think if Arnold does play again we need to simplify things for him and taking out the RPO (he consistently makes the wrong read) would be my choice.

This year could be a fluke. We replaced our entire line and have had injuries on the line. Plus I believe 5 of our top 6 receivers are out.

Elko is so damn overrated.... I'm glad he's gone from Durham

Elko strikes me as a very solid DC but probably not someone capable of taking a program like aTm to its ceiling.

He’s kind of like Doren. You know that you’re usually going to have a well coached team with a solid defense, but there’s a hard cap on how far he can take a team.

Couple years he will get a bad ass buyout

I could go for one of those in Chapel Hill right about now.

It might not solve everything, but I'd be ok with solid yet unspectacular for a few seasons.

For sure. If I had to pick between Elko and Mack Brown right now, I’m taking Elko in a heartbeat.

Taylor Vippolis had a great article after that pitiful OT shootout win over Dook’s 5th string QB last season that essentially said that we would have beaten them handedly if the coaching staffs were reversed.

Hopefully this means UNC is going to bolt in 2030 for the SEC. I know that would mean they would probably never get in the playoff for football, but it would still be a better conference overall. Adding Cal, Stanford and SMU just ruined it for me.
Good idea. Vanderbilt needs a friend.

aTms problem is they don't spend enough on football. Come on Boosters , step up

UGA is 45-2 sind 2021.
The 2 losses? Bama.

UGA has lost 8 of last 9 vs Bama.
Kirby is 1-5 vs Bama

Saban not involved.

Who you got in T-Town Saturday night?

Rumors that several transfers are no longer on State's team.
It took less than a month for State to go from being a popular dark horse to win the ACC and make the playoff to being on the verge of a complete train wreck.

UNC’s program being in infinitely more disarray keeps me from getting too much mirth from that though. Plus, State has also looked dead in the water early in each of the last few seasons and somehow managed to turn it around in time to scrounge up 8 or 9 wins and punk Mack’s unprepared teams in the season finale.

UNLV QB is sitting out the rest of the season because he wasn't given the $100K promised to him for transferring there.

That's why you always get the cash upfront.

And now a running back, a NC State transfer, is sitting out, too.
