Lols. I'd like to think you're right. I could definitely see Trump picking some MAGA influencer that occasionally mentions SEC football as the new coach and them failing miserably.

I could also see Trump hiring somebody like Hugh freeze pointing out his success at Liberty and glossing over his less than success at Auburn. Then LSU going 7 and 4 and Trump blaming college liberals for Auburn not getting into the playoffs. Even threatening funds if they don't get into the playoffs. I wish I was kidding. I typically try to point out the tin foil hat theories and I know this is one but I kind of think it's possible.

The rest of the SEC is celebrating this idiocy.

I tried to tell all y'all. The ACC is hot, smoking, dumpster-fire garbage. If you think any ACC teams can compete in the top third of the SEC or BIG, you are very, very wrong.

Today is a bit of opposite day. SMU beats Miami. WVa beats Houston. BC hanging with Notre Dame. Va Tech beating Lousiville. Florida leading Georgia at half. Every dog has his day.

But it is absolutely true that the upper end of the ACC is weak. OTOH, Fla State beat maybe the best SEC team to start the season. So even bad ACC teams are capable of beating good SEC teams.

I agree that any team can beat any team but what i have said and what i feel is that no ACC team for many years now has been good enough to finish a regular season In the top 4-5 of the 2 major leagues.

Top 5 of Big10 has been pretty trash for many years. It’s only been the last two years that the Big10 was more than three deep.
