A lot of it comes down to the fact that all of this is so new for IU. For their fans, these are once in a lifetime events (at least thus far) and they're willing to put money behind being there. For Oregon, they've been in big bowls before and it's not quite as new and exciting. Add in the distance difference and I'm not shocked that IU fans are the vast majority of the place.
