Because Section 111 is not a well written law and it doesn't protect federal officers the way equivalent impeding justice laws do in the states. Among other things, Section 111 pretty clearly requires "forceful" interference, something that is generally not happening in Minnesota or elsewhere (although there is an ICE taillight that may have a thing or two to say about Alex Pretti).

DHS officers appear to think anything that makes the work harder is a 111 violation, and it plainly is not. But no one has ever accused DHS or its minions of caring what the law actually says.

I remember reading this site during the DOGE era and seeing a handful of maga flap like seals about eliminating “waste, fraud, and abuse”. Now they sit silent as a shamed dog when Trump issues himself $10,000,000,000 in our money, sues us for $10,000,000,000 more, pardons an admitted financial criminal for &4,000,000,000, Ice Barbie buys herself a $70,000,000 luxury gulfstream, the FBI director uses the institution to cosplay and jet set around the world, and oh so many more.

By the way DOGE COST the American taxpayer and was nothing more than a blatantly obvious concentration of our tax dollars so they could more easily commit robbery.
