That's certainly an interesting story...

"Jamie Holt, acting special agent in charge of Homeland Security investigations in Minnesota and the Dakotas, released this statement on the raid Tuesday afternoon:

"Federal investigators conducted a groundbreaking criminal operation today — Minnesota's first under the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) umbrella — marking a new chapter in how we confront complex, multidimensional threats. From drug smuggling to criminal labor trafficking, this operation showcases the breadth of our collective missions and the strength of a united front.

This HSI led investigation wouldn't have been possible without the extraordinary collaboration of our state partners and federal HSTF partners, including the U.S. Attorney's Office, FBI, IRS-CI, DEA, ERO, ATF, USMS, DSS, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, TSA and local law enforcement. Together, we are safeguarding communities, protecting national security, and setting a new standard of joint enforcement efforts."

U.S. May Strip Harvey Milk’s Name From Navy Vessel​

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered a review of ship names honoring Mr. Milk, a gay rights pioneer, and other leaders. In Mr. Milk’s case, the move is intended as a rebuke of Pride Month.
 


I’ve got no problem with arresting criminals or deporting illegal immigrants. But the government has to provide proof of their allegations. They have tattoos doesn’t cut it.

Especially since, from what I've read, Tren doesn't use tattoos
 
It seems like pretty much every communication from the executive branch these days is the same -- basically a set of excuses and obvious gaslighting (especially as regards future plans) for their failures. Over and over again. The Kennedy Center isn't failing; we've just not sent out our hard copy brochures yet. It is so exhausting.

Not really a surprise. DC is toxic territory for Trump and Republicans generally, and I doubt most out-of-town visitors have going to the Kennedy Center as a must-see part of their visit. And most Trumpers are not the types to go to Kennedy Center shows anyway. They'll probably struggle to sell tickets to events as long as Dear Leader is running (ruining?) it.

Trump reminding Elon he doesn’t work there anymore? Or reminding folks that only a few days ago Elon was complimentary?
 


So the guy who did the hoax to get this guy deported so he cannot testify against the hoaxer in a criminal case wins even after the hoax is revealed?
