According to the Associated Press, a federal magistrate judge ordered that Sommer be released from custody after causing multiple disruptions during her first court appearance, for which she later apologized.

U.S. Marshals Service deputies had to allegedly carry her out of the courtroom after one of Sommer’s outbursts caused the hearing to be suspended. She was also brought into the courtroom in shackles and handcuffs.…”

I mean, it definitely sounds like Spitty McSpitface needs a mental health intervention … I’m pretty sure the closest I ever came to having genuinely murderous rage was the one time my brother spit in my face. I threw him across the room (onto the couch) and yelled I was going to kill him but then cooled off because my even younger brother started crying because he was convinced I was seriously going to kill the other brother. I was maybe 11 or 12 then.

You can lump all the left wing violence in this country's history and it still ends up as less than J6.

And of course you missed the point, because missing the point is what you do. Do really have such little self-respect? I admit, I would get frustrated in your position, losing every single argument over years, having to be lectured on first year law school concepts, etc. But here's what I would do: I would up my game. I'd learn a few things. I'd read. I'd think critically. In other words, I'd do all the things I've done over the last 30 years, and I'll let you figure out how that affects our respective abilities.

The only death as a direct result of J6 was a MAGA air force veteran. In this case a young couple in the prime of their lives died as a result of a lefty who looks and sounds exactly like the loons shouting "Globalize Intifada" on college campuses and coddled by hapless administrators.

The no taxes on overtime is one that bothers me. There's some systems that have serious abuse of overtime rules so that senior employees are allowed to boost their last few earning years to increase SS and pension benefits and sometimes make more in overtime than standard pay. Those people need to be investigated and not rewarded with a tax break.

I'll say this as one who voted straight Pub in every election before 2016. 1/6 was a turning point. I will never, ever, ever vote for a Republican after (1) what happened that day, and (2) what the Republican Party did to whitewash it and cover it up. So from a political perspective, yeah, I guess you could say every day for me is 1/6. If you can still vote for a Republican after what happened that day, you couldn't give a shit about this country or the constitution.
