Inverted red triangles? That's an anti-semitism thing? Fuck me. For half a century I've been yielding to traffic and only now I'm finding out that was an Intifada all along?
 
Aaron Parnas has uploaded a video explaining that border agents and ICE will be doing “security” at the FIFA games in Miami and they have told all non citizens to carry documents with them.

Which poses the question… How will they determine who is and who isn’t a citizen? Racial profiling?

What if it’s a brown citizen who didn’t bring papers because THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AMERICA AND YOU DON’T FUCKING NEED PAPERS TO WALK AROUND!?!

I fucking HATE what this country is devolving into!

So the Alliance Defending Freedom will surely step up to defend the coffee shop right? If the Christian baker has a religious right not to make gay wedding cakes, then surely a Muslim barista has a religious right not to serve a specialized coffee drink to a Jew.

So a baker can refuse to make a cake for a gay couple, but this guy has to serve people he doesn't agree with??

Now my personal opinion is that it's not a smart move to drive away customers, so I would serve the coffee.

But either way this seems hypocritical and I don't understand why the federal government would be involved.

Well, yes. Public accommodations laws are good, and they require it. That the Supreme Court punched a hole in them on religious freedom grounds doesn't mean the whole edifice should crumble. If he didn't serve them because they were Jewish, then he broke the law.

However, I'm confident that the allegations here are not factually supported. I could be wrong, but the track record of this DOJ is unmistakably clear. Almost certainly the Jewish "customers" were agitators who were likely intended to cause commotion. The complaint says they were wearing Star Of David baseball caps. Why would anyone do that and then go into that coffee shop?

OK -- looking at a map, I see this area is near a hospital. So while it seemed at first ridiculous that they would be marching through an Arab neighborhood dressed like that, I don't think it actually is. I mean, I don't know what their actual motivation was, but you can't infer anything from their specific location.

Still, I am confident that the defense is going to reveal disruptions.

I'm in agreement with public accommodation laws, I'm really pointing out the hypocrisy.

As I wrote previously, it's bad business to run off customers anyway.
