I am chastened.Simmer down on the personal insults, please.
Let me put it this way. In the corporate world DEI does (at least) two extremely valuable things:
1) it removes obvious and hidden bias from hiring and employee development through frameworks and techniques that bring real objectivity to those critical functions.
2) it offers a path to a sense of belonging and motivation through inclusive practices like employee resource groups, mentoring programs, executive coaching and staff/team recognition.
Neither of these are race-based. In my experience those who pontificate against DEI programs have no earthly idea what they actually are or do, previously and deservedly insulted company most definitely included.
