Biden’s team covered up for his mental state, that we can say for sure based on the WSJ reporting. It’s much more of a stretch to say the media covered it up. Especially when Biden’s team actively shielded him from the media, and the media pretty uniformly came out against Biden after the first debate.

The media had been covering for biden since before the election (laptop lies). They only began to question anything after the debate when they absolutely had to because the entire world saw.

I'll get something straight with you now. I have no problem saying musk lied or a lie that he might tell in the future. That isn't what I said in my post. I'm not under any illusion that musk or ramaswammy will fully transparent on everything they say. That doesn't mean this bill was good in any way and from what I've read it was a good thing that it got killed. The g'ment will continue and the hurricane sufferers will get funding. A 1500 page bill full of crap that mike johnson was in favor of for vagina reasons got derailed. Good. A win for America.

because I didn't see it. i said i read the board frequently. i didn't say i read every thread every day. not to hard to understand is it?

Well you’ve at least come a long way from, “Believe what?” Give it another day or two and maybe you’ll be able to see the irony in starting a thread about the lying press while not QUITE being able to call the source of your own information the habitual liar he is. And that goes just as much for Trump as it does for his boss.

I found it. Its half way down the 2nd page in the biden thread just where you said it would be. had dust all over it because its the last post in the thread. just blown away it got so much discussion. But props to nyc for posting it.

my "believe what" question was for you to further clarify what you were asking. Was it the entire premise, or the quote I posted? You didn't clarify that. As for my source, I'm not sure what you are referencing related to your claim of musk's lie. i got my info from the ny times piece that referenced pay raises, healthcare adjustments and the dc stadium. I never quoted but one comment from musk.

So you think it was a bad thing that 1500 page bill got tanked? Not trying to put words in your mouth but it came across that you do based on your earlier comments. Why do you oppose the bill getting killed?

Because it was a bipartisan bill that both Dems and Pubs had worked on to keep the government open and avoid fiscal turmoil. I thought you liked bipartisanship. Or is that just when Dems are calling all the shots?
 
Don't know anything about the bill but, on general principles, when a person of influence resorts to outright lies instead of challenges on merit to oppose something, I get suspicious. It's not like the president's boss isn't going to get his side heard.

Items 2-4: have nothing to do with the Biden administration, and the Biden administration now has inflation under control, USA is economy is outperforming much of the rest of the world.
Item 5: Say what? rule of law? Crime is actually down.
