I'm personally thankful for OGtruthhurts's presence in our community because, despite the fact that he brings absolutely less than zero to any conversation or discourse here, and despite the fact that his nihilist cosplay is among the most pathetic and least clever schticks I've ever seen, and despite the fact that he always appears to be a few keystrokes away from a complete and total mental breakdown, his presence here ensures that I'm not the dumbest person in the entire community. So for that I am thankful.

It very well may be that I’m in denial, but I find it very hard to believe that poll. To me, that poll screams of CBS trying their damndest to stay out of Trump’s crosshairs due to the 60 Minutes thing, but I could be wrong.

Why aren't they doing what the rest of the trumpers are, spamming their extended family on Facebook. I'm guessing they they have entered useless person unfollow them territory, so ZZL is where they hone their people skills.

no, we disagree, sometimes profoundly, and like some other posters from across the political spectrum can drive me nuts with shit posting just for the hell of it at times, but to date none of the posters here are my enemies (sworn or otherwise).

Their ways of disagreeing often have a profound effect on people's lives. Not so much mine, as I'm straight and white, and can pretend to be a Christian as needed.

As I laid out in my OP, with maybe a tad of hyperbole, these folks have made the decision that they don't give a shit about humanity. They decided with their votes, saying the quiet parts out loud now, willful ignorance, greed, and bigotry to be my enemy. I am simply acknowledging their decision. That's it. It's their choice, therefore I don't have one. You want to hate everyone not like you, then I will have to fight that.

It's the Paradox of Tolerance. After the last 3 weeks, I know where I have to side.
