Well, I work for a company that contracts with USAID and people have been laid off because they don't have any funding. Is that enough support? The media has done plenty of reporting on the fact that the funding is still frozen despite the court orders to unfreeze them.

Yep. I now know 15+ federal workers, affected by firings, rescinded offers, freezes in funding. These are highly productive, super smart people.

I did have one additional parting thought.

I don't know what "all the people" means or who "they" are. Sounds like the very ambiguous "they" conspiracy theorists reference.

The court ruled on Monday. There was apparently some question about what they ruled on; the freeze based on one OMB memos or both OMB memo. That was apparently cleared up at some point on Tuesday.

Given the uproar, I would have thought at least one reporter would have asked about the frozen funds in yesterday's press briefing, if they were still frozen.
