No one is disputing Trump won and what a disaster the nature of Harris' loss is for the Democratic Party and their strategy to this point. In that sense, you're not wrong. I've made a few posts on this board right after the election saying (more or less), "if you can't win with a billion dollars and objective reality on your side, you've got a massive problem." You could at least search through the results here or on google - check out the election day thread for instance. Look at any of the videos from the "lib" cable news networks from after election day - they all beat those points to death (and still do sometimes). One of the significant reasons that the Dems ran Harris was financial: anyone else except Harris would not have been able to legally access the re-election funds/war chest Biden had accumulated up to that point.

But ask yourself this: did Harris call Trump and concede her loss on election night or did she deny the reality of her loss in the face of hard evidence to the contrary? Do you see massive numbers of lawsuits being filed by Democratic attorneys or others - without any actual evidence of fraud - to contest any of the election results (or in any of the swing states)? Do you see online chatter about Democrats taking the country back on January 6, 2025? Do you see Harris (or Biden) repeatedly rage-tweeting about how Republicans stole the election, cut in fake ballots from China, had a dead former head of state change voting machine results, or the like? Is MSNBC or CNN falsely broadcasting how the voting machines were rigged in favor of Trump? If you find anything like that, let us know.

LOL. As numerous others here have already pointed out, both Biden and Byrd repeatedly, publicly apologized for racist statements and racism in their past. It certainly doesn't make it OK, but at least it's there. And Byrd died nearly 15 years ago, but Republicans like you conveniently trot his corpse out whenever your party gets accused of racism. The difference, as many others have pointed out, is that Trumpers continue to make racist, sexist, and homophobic comments on a pretty much daily basis. It's quite literally everywhere. I've been hearing conservatives claim Democrats are still racist because of Robert Bryd for years, and it always draws a laugh. Just compare the statements of Biden and Trump for the past 8 years and see what you find - Trump will be far, far ahead in the bigotry count.

I'm actually all for your side doing whatever it wants for the next couple of years, at least in terms of legislation and gutting the government and all that stuff so many conservatives now giddily want to do. As you so proudly just pointed out, you now own the federal government, just as you did from 2017 to 2018. And in 2018 you lost forty house seats and control of the House and two years later you lost the presidency. So I'm telling you, go for broke next year. Slash or privatize that Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid, do away with all of those federal agencies created over the last century as Project 2025 wants. In fact, just go ahead and enact that whole Project 2025 agenda - the same one that Donald Trump said he had barely heard of and didn't really know what it was, remember? And raise all of those tariffs like Trump promised on China and our other major trading partners. And round up all illegals - at gunpoint and using the military if necessary - and put them in "processing" (detention) camps, just as Trump and other Trumpers said during the campaign. And go ahead and let Putin overrun Ukraine and target other Eastern European states, and just let China have Taiwan. Oh, and pull out of NATO and the UN while your side is at it. Basically, just go ahead and enact your agenda, because as you said, Democrats can't stop you for at least the next two years.

And let's all wait and see what happens when your side does all of these things. It will certainly be educational, if not very pleasant for any of us. But I do hope that your side carries out its dream agenda, because it's obvious that Trumpers aren't going to stop until you've turned the clock back on our government and society by at least a century or so, to the pre-New Deal Era. And we know that's true because a great many of the people on your side have been tweeting and posting about it since the election. You claim to have a mandate, so go ahead and act on it, and we'll see what happens going forward. I don't think it will go at all like Trumpers expect, but go for it.

You have to remember Ramrouser had a deeply personal financial interest in this election. He was voting to keep the guy who pays his salary out of prison. It’s no wonder he’s a little celebratory this season.

Racism has many forms, one doesn't have to call black people the "N" word. It can be more subtle like fighting legislation that helps minorities or removing racial history from text books, maybe refusing to accept history because your white kid might feel bad, maybe not recognizing the disproportionate incidents involving minorities and police.

It's not the open racism of Jim crow and segregation, but it exist.

I'd really like to live in the world you live in where racism doesn't exist.

Do you also believe that LBGTQ+ people are not marginalized or treated poorly because of who they are? If so, I'll record some of the locals that yell things as they pass my house because we have an acceptance flag on the back deck.

Im one of tens of millions of Americans who refuse to sacrifice our integrity and vote for one of the garbage candidates the parties give us. I will continue to not vote until I see a decent politician who represents me as a human being and we the people.

What you actually did was 1) to throw your vote away at a pivotal time in American history and 2) to cede your right to have a voice as to how things will go in the country to others, who likely won't have your best interests at heart.

You and anyone else who sat it out did so when it mattered most. At least the MAGA voters took a side.
