I just want to point out what calla is doing here. For the last four years, while Biden was leading the country out of the pandemic, through global inflation, and through international crises in Ukraine and the Middle East, the moral dregs of the universe, led by Donald J. Trump himself, were having a "meltdown" every hour of every day, starting with the insurrection on January 6 and culminating with the absurdly racist MSG rally at the end of the campaign. I will never contend that Biden did everything right, but when the worst people on the face of the planet are throwing daily hissy fits, it's a pretty good sign he did more right than wrong.

Now, the ones "melting down" are, for the most part, the experts. The highly educated. The people who stand in the gaps for the poor and the marginalized. The people who have been shat upon time after time by self-proclaimed Christians and other moralists. The only people celebrating the first three weeks of Trump's presidency are, once again, the dregs of human society.

So let's not be deceived. This MAGA dancing on graves cannot become some false equivalence between the "meltdown" MAGA experienced for four years under Biden, and the "meltdown" the entire rational world is having right now. They are not at all the same thing.

I highly doubt callatoroy will criticize Trump or Trump’s economy. I highly doubt he’ll disappear from this site.

There will continue to be Trump “victories” over transgender Americans, killing off government program after government program (that those programs benefit disease control, healthcare, education in poor areas, transportation and infrastructure, American diplomacy, etc., etc. is no concern; killing off beneficial programs is a plus, not a negative), claims about “securing” the border, claims about “trade deal wins,” claims about “rebuilding” the military…….lots of opportunities to crow about Trump, Musk, and MAGA.

That those claims aren’t based in reality isn’t a problem.

Way more objective on trump than you are. My history proves it. The fact that you can't acknowledge trump wins when there is clear evidence highlights your inability to be remotely objective. Already lots of reality with more to come. Gonna be a long 4 years for people melting down after 19 days.

Downsizing the g'ment is what I and a majority of voters voted for. Is that news to you? Were you not paying attention? To busy trying to decipher kamala's word salads? Emotionally to fragile to understand a MAJORITY of Americans said they no longer want to be the world's culture war charity, or follow the path the left charted to a failed public education system, or have open borders. That your political priorities and agenda was discarded is tough to swallow but don't act like a petulant child.

I can assure you, if there was clear evidence of a Trump "win," many of us here would acknowledge it. The fact we have not done so is not an indication of our unwillingness to do so.

Your objectivity regarding Trump is demonstrated by the fact that you have voted for Trump not once, but multiple times.

That’s how objective you are about arguably the worst POTUS ever - James Buchanan’s corpse is glad Trump became POTUS. Another candidate for Worst POTUS Ever, George W. Bush, is enough of a patriotic American that he’s not thankful Trump became POTUS.

I guess you noticed trump's comments to hamas before taking office and all of a sudden a cease fire deal materializes after feckless jill had been trying for 2 damn years. Yea, i'd say our foreign policy light years ahead of where jill had it, inspite our being rude.

Nobody but a biden homer would believe that sorry piece of legislation would have made the border more secure then than now. Now mexico has put 10,000 troops on the border, canada has beefed up border security, we have the military helping border patrol and what is the result? no caravans on the way and illegal border crossings down 90%. At least discuss in good faith.

Other than the method elon is using, trumps diarrhea of the mouth on gaza, blanket pardons, and rfk jr / vought I'm getting what I voted for. 19 days in, small price to pay for the wins that have happened and those that are on the way.

Show me any reputable polling showing a clear majority of Americans considered making government provide fewer services a priority. Show me less government is what a majority of people voted for.

Criticizing Harris for "word salad" is beyond ludicrous for anyone who voted for trump. No objective or serious person would do that.

Show me how depriving minority communities of the same rights and opportunities makes your life better, other than making you feel good about hurting others.

Republicans have for decades tried to sabotage public education. Any failures of public education are a feature, not a bug, of Republican policies.
