I meant to post about your earlier post because it reminds me of hypotheticals my buddies and I pose to each other on 50/50 questions...

This is a great hypothetical 50/50 question :cool:

So our hypothetical poses the question:

If a gun was held to your head and the correct answer determined whether you live or die, what is your answer ?

Put in that life or death choice for an answer , I would not hesitate to choose that Trump has had sex with underage girls.
 
If I understand the R and D perspectives on this situation correctly, the following things are true:

  1. Trump was involved in the abuse of minors along with Epstein
  2. Ghislaine knew this, and likely more, but decided not to leverage it to help with her sentencing
  3. Now that she's being asked about it, she's going to lie to possibly get her sentence reduced
  4. The evidence of Trump's involvement is in the "files" but the Biden admin kept it quiet
  5. or..... The Biden admin created fake files but didn't release/leak them with the hopes that, if Trump won again, his people would accidentally release them.

What I think:

1 ) yes
2 ) if she spilled the beans she knew her life was at risk and declined and hoped for a pardon at a later date
3 ) she is now thinking that she might spill the beans hoping to leverage Trump for the pardon he hinted for her
4 ) ????
5 ) ????
 
So Elon says he went "too far" with his comments. He never said they weren't true, did he?
Bondi says "I didn't mean the Epstein [client] list was on my desk, I meant the file was on my desk to review" and "there is no list."
She must have a very large desk if the entire file was on it.
Maybe there are various lists, logs, appointments, receipts, ledgers, statements, bills, checks, records, etc. within the file she could release.

It is kind of interesting that Elon was the first person to say something about Epstein before the story broke wide open. Can't stand the guy but he could continue to be a thorn for Trump.

I doubt anything that could damage the MAGA God-King will get released to the public. Even if there's video and pics of him diddling minors his base will not leave him. Really, just read the quite disturbing allegations in the 2016 Jane Doe lawsuit against Trump and Epstein.

As for the last point, the Coptic Church and a part of the Ethiopian already canonized Pontius Pilate as a Christian martyr, so there's precedent.

The lower chamber was originally scheduled to be in session through Thursday, but votes were scrapped as Democrats and some Republicans push for a floor vote to force the release of the Epstein files. Lawmakers will now head home until Sept. 2, after votes on Wednesday afternoon.

On Monday night, the Epstein controversy disrupted another House Rules Committee meeting — the last hurdle for most legislation before it gets a floor vote — when Democrats threatened to make Republicans take more uncomfortable votes on Epstein-related amendments.

The committee instead recessed for the remainder of the week, blocking the House from passing legislation with a simple majority. The House can still bypass the committee and approve noncontroversial legislation with a two-thirds majority.
