My grandfather graduated from high school at age 16 in the depths of the Great Depression.

His English teacher helped him earn a scholarship at a “teachers’ college.”

1. Whatever happened with Epstein involves so many high-level people, in both politics (both parties) and industry, in the US and abroad, that administrations of both parties have been unwilling to disclose all information, despite the fact that Epstein is long dead and therefore could not be personally prejudiced by such disclosure.

2. MAGA were mindbogglingly stupid suckers to think Trump would ever release all the information about Epstein when he could have done so while he was president the first time around but did not.

3. While I have deep sympathy for the victims of Epstein's evil scheme, I honestly don't care that much about this whole issue, except to the extent it creates divisions between Trump and his gullible, idiotic supporters, which would be a great thing for this country.

There is no list. There never has been. That is the imagination of the simple-minded conspiracy freaks. Epstein was not writing down on a piece of paper everyone that he hung out with. That is not how the real world works.

There are flight manifests. And there are documents showing people that interacted with Epstein. But there is no list.

I can see where you’re coming from about the risk for others, but walk me through your thinking. Would the concept of mutually-assured destruction not be a sufficient way to keep a whole lot of people quiet? I mean, if these rich and powerful people all have an appetite for some underage strange, I can’t imagine, despite their ability to totally nuke another into orbit by spilling the beans, that they’d want to risk ratting themselves out and ending the fun.

Also, help me to understand why I shouldn’t believe that a whole bunch of rich and powerful people all hanging out with the most notorious international child sex trafficker of our time, and spending lots of time on his plane and on his island and at his parties, wouldn’t *at a bare minimum** have knowledge of his activities or **at worst** been active participants? I mean, I guess it’s possible that Jeffrey Epstein was the most charming, most fun guy in the entire universe but it seems a hell of a lot more probable that all of his rich and powerful friends shared a similar appetite for sex with underage girls.

Fair enough. I was intending to comment on the "Epstein was not writing down everyone he hung out with" part of it, but you're right that I did say that. I continue to think what I said today, including that I'm only interested in this at all because of the dissention it's creating within MAGA.
