If they exhibit sexual attraction to post-pubescent females, their sexual attraction is deemed to have fallen in the “normal” range and they are not diagnosed with pedophilia.

That is probably more information than people wanted to know, but maybe some people want to have an understanding of terms.

So based upon your experience representing clients who are accused of sex offenses, as someone who had a 30 year career in psychiatry I assume you are not saying that 50+yo men having sex with 15yo girls is considered "psychiatrically normal."

I'm guessing you are saying that 50+ yo men being attracted to 15yo girls does not meet the diagnosis for pedophilia.

I've been out of the biz for 20 years so things may have changed, but at the time there was controversy about parsing pedophilia ( attraction to children under 12yo ) vs hebephilia ( 12-14yo ) vs ephebophilia ( 15yo to adulthood ) with the adult age being the age of consent. 50+yo men with a strong sexual attraction to young teen girls is not "psychiatrically normal" in my humble opinion.

Technically, I guess we have been wrong to refer to Michael Jackson as a pedophile but...

At any rate, although I think the ages from state to state vary, generally a 50yo male having sex with a minor female falls under statutory rape laws which is a crime
 
Well, it didn't take long. Trump is directing a DOJ inquiry into DEMOCRATS ONLY who were involved with Epstein.
The next step will be an "ongoing investigation" claim to prevent full disclosure of the files.
The only transparency of this administration is how transparent it is that they will do anything and everything in their power to cover up.

They just need to invoke the ram doctrine. If you have no "hard evidence" video of me butt fucking a 13 year old, then it's just a GQP distraction from the piss poor economy we are experiencing going into the holiday season

Those who conduct those forensic evaluations tell me that adult male attraction to post-pubescent females is “normal” but it is also important that those adult males understand and acknowledge the inappropriateness of acting on such attraction.

With regard to your last paragraph, disturbingly the age of consent in NC is 16 (and that is probably the case in many other states), so a 50-year-old man can legally have sex with a 16-year-old. I do not think that is okay and think the age of consent needs to be raised.

If Trump did not suddenly care about investigating Clinton, Congress would get the files and they could start attacking immediately. So, if you want transparency, you should be wishing Trump’s investigation into Clinton gets killed quickly (is my understanding).

  1. Realized long ago that Trump is a scumbag, but either don't care because they think his election furthers their personal interests (HY2012) or actually love and relish that he's a scumbag (ramrouser)
  2. Were naive enough to either think in 2024 that Trump was a scumbag or not really form an opinion on it, but now realize he's a scumbag but will rationalize it
  3. Still truly, honestly believe to this day that Trump is not only not a scumbag, but is righteous, and is a champion against the forces of evil in the world (Dems/leftists/whatever).
YI think you are significantly underrating, in particular, that there are still millions of people in bucket three. They are stupid, gullible, brainwashed (often through the vehicle of religion) or maybe all of the above, but there absolutely are still millions of people who think Trump is a champion for good standing tall against the forces of darkness.
