I interpret this as an admission by St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago that unedited copies of the "Epstein Files" may be floating around in the hands of people who are either not sympathetic or indifferent to St. Donald's attempts to remake America in his own image. And these traitorous persons as just waiting for St. Donald's lackeys to release an "edited," i.e. only names Democrats, version of the "Epstein Files" to leak the unedited files. And these unedited files will have indices that will strongly suggest that they are genuine and authentic. That these unedited "Epstein Files" may already be in the hands of foreign governments who wish to influence US policy is not a probability for me, but an eventuality only waiting for the occasion to arise where such foreign governments decide that the time is ripe to play or threaten to play this particular "Trump Card."

So I think Dems should not make the Epstein files a central part of their campaigns. That table has been set by disaffected MAGAs and no matter how desperate Trump is to get this off his plate I think this will continue into the 2026 election. There is no placating MAGA conspiracists.

But to campaign on those very important and grave concerns will amount to an esoteric howling at the moon as it concerns the average American voter next year...sad but true
