Why are "conservatives" so bad at logic?
It’s a feature, alongside hypocrisy. And, it’s unavoidable when your entire movement is centered around slavish obsequiousness to the most narcissistic and overtly ignorant person in the history of US federal politics. It then becomes a self perpetuating ecosystem of illogic and gaslighting. Not to mention, maga gives the excuse for these people to show their true colors, as opposed to spending energy suppressing their main character syndrome and bigotries. Why are "conservatives" so bad at logic?
TDSWhy are "conservatives" so bad at logic?
Thinking requires effort, and you sometimes don't get the result you want. Emotion is easy, and you always get the answer you want. In between, if you have a trusted authority (trump, fox news, etc) who supplies information, you don't have to waste time, energy, and effort with thinking and logic. Why are "conservatives" so bad at logic?

I was excoriated on the board in a manner that only Super can do. I was like: "who is THIS guy?"Complete lack of empathy. They knew bad things would happen. They knew bad things would happen to people like them. They did not think it would impact them personally, and they only ever consider themselves.

Whirlpool Corporation will lay off 651 workers at its manufacturing plant in Amana, Iowa, the company announced this week.
It's a move that has triggered political backlash and renewed scrutiny of recent changes to the state's unemployment benefits.
The layoffs, effective June 1, represent the largest in Iowa since Tyson Foods closed its Perry facility last year, affecting 1,276 workers.
Why It Matters
The job losses come just weeks after Iowa's Republican-led Legislature reduced the duration of unemployment benefits available to workers affected by plant layoffs and closings, a move that labor leaders and Democratic lawmakers argue leaves displaced workers with fewer options during economic uncertainty.
