If good trolling is measured by the fact that other people don't seem to have the discipline to simply not respond - even when they know better - then I agree.

If based on originality or sophistication of his posts, then he's really not that good at it.

It's sort of funny. I believed that Gavin Newsome would be a terrible candidate for the Democrats to nominate in 2028. I was thinking some sort of grassroots, down-to-earth Southern male with an ability to appeal to the "common man" would be the only choice with a shot at victory. I was wrong. There may not be an election in 2028. If that's where we are headed, then I don't want to go out whimpering, "Please sir, may I have another." I want to go down fighting and screaming. To Hades with all these MAGA's. Let them find out how a country operates when you have locked up everyone who actually cares about keeping the lights on, preserving drinkable water, monitoring the air for toxins, responding to disease outbreaks, and having the grocery store shelves stocked and full. Having a secret stash of emergency rations is not a long-term solution for what will happen if the US is handed over to the billionaire tech bros who think they understand and can work with Vlad "the Ras" Putin and Xi Jinping. "Working with" Vlad the Ras and Xi Jinping involves having electrodes attached to each testicle and Vlad and Xi having a remote in their pockets that energizes those electrodes.

Of course you’re not wrong and you’re almost as cynical as I am. You’ll get there one of these days though…. it’s coming.
 
I don't particularly care for Newsom in some ways and he would not be my first choice for 2028 (I'm probably leaning towards Beshear if he runs), and in the grand scheme of things this social media war is minor, but I will say that I have thoroughly enjoyed being reminded of just how easily triggered Trumpers are. As long as they are the ones doing the bullying and mocking and trash talking they're loving it, but the moment it gets turned on them they suddenly turn into the biggest snowflakes you ever saw. Watching them whine this past week over Newsom's office trolling them has been amusing and revealing, to say the least. Fox News has been in a meltdown over Newsom's trolling for several days now. They are a perfect representation of the kind of people who can dish it out, but can't take it.
