Unfortunately, the California Democratic bench is pretty weak at the moment. If Schift hadn’t kneecapped Katie Porter in the primary, I’d love to be hearing from her. LA local politicians have been terrible for generations. And corrupt as hell, too.

The LAPD police captain has been pretty solid, and the sheriff has as well.

Newsom does not need to be silent here. He does have a role to play. But he simply insists on acting and playing a character ALL the time. And it is always about him.

I’m ignorant and I’m not a Democrat.
Unaffiliated and clueless as to what the Governor from California does on the daily. But I did like his going after a trump today. Sorry you dislike your Governor. I like ours here in N.C.

Give me JB Pritzker any day. Or Josh Shapiro. Or Gretchen Whitmer. Or Josh Stein. Or Andy Beshear. Or AOC. Or Jasmine Crocket.

Or basically someone who is at least within the same area code of real human emotions.
