Whether or not that's true, none of that justifies us potentially making up for our prior complacency by simply taking resources or land we think we need, by force, from other sovereign nations. That would make us every bit the "bad guys" that Germany and Japan were in WWII, and make other countries justified in opposing us militarily.
We agree

Can we just level-set on this Greenland thing by acknowledging that in no way, shape, or form, is this about "national security?" It's not. Denmark allows us military presence there, and is more than willing to allow us to increase that presence.

This is about resources, just like Venezuela was.
Then sign a 50 year development lease and be done with it. A win-win for everyone.

Maybe I should submit my name for Nobel Peace Prize.

Venezuela was about drug cartels, oil, and keeping russia and china away. Whether you agree or not, I do think trump was sincere in addressing drug cartels. Just lucky that one of the main ones also sat on a pool of oil. Greenland is purely about resources. But I see that as vital to national security where some of you don't.

You lost me at drug cartels. It was about oil. Only oil. If it was about drug cartels, Trump wouldn't have pardoned a guy that was in jail for the same exact thing he's accusing Maduro of doing.

Trump isn't sincere about anything but whatever makes him feel like a king and makes him money. You're an idiot if you don't see he is a sociopath who cares nothing about anyone or anything but himself.

Most of this is wrong.

Mining could be a problem if you have to go trough a moving glacier to to get at it

If we agreed, you would be condemning any attempt by the Trump admin to use force or coercion to take control of Venezuela'a natural resources, but it sounds like the opposite.
Have stated at least twice i don’t support using force. All I can do is say it. I can’t read and comprehend it for you too.

All of the rationalizations we're hearing from MAGAs are simply horrible. It's basically "we're the bully on the block, the biggest and baddest in the world, and we should just take what we want and other nations be damned. If those 60,000 people living in Greenland don't want us there then tough shit, we want it and so it should be ours!" It really does sound like something a pirate or Nazi would say.

To fairly sum up Callatoroy’s stance, he doesn’t want to invade Greenland militarily and take it by force.
He merely wants the US to take control of Greenland’s natural resources.

I don’t think he has explained how we could “take control” of their natural resources peacefully, or why we couldn’t just acquire them through trade.
