It's truly amazing the Democrats, like you, think that all Trump supporters are just a bunch of white, backward, racist, transphobic, xenophobic, homophobic hicks whose concerns are based in bigotry.
At no point did I say anything like that. There's plenty of bigotry to be found in respectable country clubs full of rich educated elites.

As for this discussion -- I mean, if the shoe fits, wear it. I've pointed out that this anti-trans bullshit is in fact bullshit and yet another chapter in a long line of "concerns" about minorities wreaking harm on majority populations who are not at all threatened. You have basically no answer to that.

And so then you go back to the hissy fit. Waah! You're not giving respect to my irrational bigotry! Waah! This is why you lose elections! Because people like me are so insecure about our own opinions, that when you point out our bigotry , we have no option but to vote for a bunch of grifting con men who expressly promise to destroy most of the national infrastructure that makes America what it is.i

Well, hissy fit away. You broke it, you own it. And when Trump runs the country into the ground, the liberals will again take power and we're still not going to respect your bigotry or acknowledge it as legitimate. Sort of like the gay marriage thing you now admit to having been wrong about. I'm confident you died on that hill just like you're going to die on this one.

Where does this "legitimate concern" come from?

Where is all the data supporting trans women assaulting women in public restrooms?

If there were data to support this, then you might have an argument. But since there really isn't, it's more that the right is pushing the fear than a real concern.
Again, it's not about just restrooms, though it seems pretty clear why posters want to bring it back to that.

It's also not just about the potential for assault. It's about women not wanting to change around strange males, walk around naked in front to strange males or shower next to strange males. There's apparently a limitless supply of concern for trans women's feelings and comfort and apparently none for the feelings and comfort cis women.

It's about people not being ok with men punching women in the face in the Olympics. It's about parents not wanting their daughters competing against males who have a clear strength, speed and athletic advantage.

"It just boggles the mind that you can be aware of white people "concerned" about black people in their schools or pools, and straight people "concerned" about gay people grooming their children, and be aware that these are the same white people, and still characterize those concerns as legitimate."

You're only making my point and are now escalating with ridiculous stereotyping. It's truly amazing the Democrats, like you, think that all Trump supporters are just a bunch of white, backward, racist, transphobic, xenophobic, homophobic hicks whose concerns are based in bigotry. It explains what I've been saying about how the feelings and concerns of the two sides are treated so differently, but doesn't make it any less amazing.

No skin off my back if the Democratic Party continues to try to burn itself to the ground by being so judgemental and out of touch with a significant portion of the country.
If you support these things, then all be it, vote for trump or the next maga installation.

If it's such a concern then you must vote for them, after all they are the ones telling you that there is so much concern, where's the actual data showing that trans women routinely attach people in the restroom? Where's the data showing that all immigrants coming across the southern border are murders and rapist?

Thanks again for helping prove my point. Like I said...all the concern for the feelings, comfort and rights of trans women and basically none for cis women or parents of females.

Keep the fire going. Burn it down, buddy.

Yea, some people keep bringing us back.

I was responding to this, There are two sides to the trans/bathroom/locker room /shower issue. The only concern I see expressed is concern for the side of the incredibly small minority (trans). How it makes them feel. How they want to feel comfortable, I didn't bring up the topic again.

And pretty much anything I've said is true for bathroom/locker/shower.

And this bullshit.

There's what, one?, actually occurrence?

The percentage of trans women in women's sports is 0.0000001%.

That's really something to worry about.

The problem is these idiots don't understand actual data on demographics and large numbers.

Just look at the other post where people were polled, and they seemed to believe that trans people were over 20% of the population.

More ignorance to support their fear.

If every single trans woman wanted to play sports, there wouldn't be enough to form their own team or league.

No it hasn't been debunked.

I have plenty of respect for the opinions and rights of cis women. I don't have respect for bullshit. The fact that you have no argument and have been resorting to grievance-whining is telling.

Zen is about intuition, meditation and acceptance. Me thinks you need to focus more on meditation and acceptance ZMode and STFU with your intuition.

I understand the paperwork aspect, but the DSD diagnosis means there is more going on there than just what is said on paperwork. We don't have any medical support either way.

At the very least there is ambiguity in her gender and the people that were under the impression that she was a male were not okay with what they perceived was happening. Mature males vs mature females, at most any level of sports, isn't going to be a fair fight.

"I have plenty of respect for the opinions and rights of cis women."

Well, let me know when you express any of it.

No you don't. The trans population is approx. .25%. The women in this country who oppose penises in women's bathrooms is millions more. If you respected the opinions and rights of cis women you wouldn't dismiss it and call it bullshit. Your ethics are purely situational. Own it.

Well, for one thing, I've never met a cis woman who thinks she needs bathroom protection. Every cis woman I know is supportive of trans identity. Not every cis woman in the country, yes, but a majority do not think like you do.

How could we express it where you would see it?

Should I say: "Cis women, I hear you. But there is no support to the fear that you have caused by the right's political agenda to keep you scared to go into restrooms and locker rooms" ?

.25% therefore this fear that a trans woman is in the restroom is almost impossible.

How many millions and millions of cis women go to the restroom or locker room each day and do not verify that no one has a penis?

99% of them go without concern. Only the Nancy Mace's of the world keep it stirred up.

So now it’s about majorities?
