What’s the point in asking her to do an interview if they’re not gonna let her answer the questions?

C'mon, you know they weren't trying to inform their audience. Primetime Fox is for an audience of one, regardless if they serve up faux journalist Brett Baier.

IMO, there are no real journalists left on Fox - they're all just total shills for whatever the Murdochs want and the GOP needs them to say. The last two credible journalists they had were Chris Wallace and Shep Smith, and they both left years ago.

Lost a lot of respect for Baier today.
Meh, he basically did what others do in adversarial interviews with Trump/Vance. I actually prefer a middle ground where the interviewer doesn’t let them filibuster without answering questions, but doesn’t interrupt too much either.

ETA: I think she did as well as she could in this setting, Fox was never going to let her actually inform their viewers with common sense.

The decline of long interviews by actual journalists with politicians has conditioned political hacks out there to expect that a politician should just be able to say whatever they want without interruption.

Brett was over the top, but I don’t enjoy interviews with filibustering answers, only for the journalist to just move onto the next question when the question they just asked wasn’t answered.

Kamala is better in adversarial interviews/debates than in softball settings.
she’s quite mediocre in standard interviews where she needs to nail rehearsed answers with limited feedback, banter, vibe. She’s much better playing to a crowd and sparring with bullshit, with makes sense given her background.

Do you guys think Rogan will bring her on? I know they are in talks, but I'm not confident Rogan himself will sign off. I'd imagine he doesn't want to give her a platform if he's not going to give Trump one.

I think he wants the attention.
