There’s nothing wrong with the quality of their steak.Same. But I’m not spending money at Ruth’s Chris for one.

I totally thought you were younger than that, geisterfahrer.I’m well past it and love steak. The point is for 20 yr olds Ruth’s Chris is the pinnacle of fine dining. They’re not attempting to show off Chapel Hill’s innovative cuisine.
I’m sure. And to be clear I’m someone who is totally fine with dropping serious coin on a good meal. Just don’t need to for a steak at a steakhouse. Some people might dig that, but not my thing. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of their steak.
YeaI totally thought you were younger than that, geisterfahrer.
I think Snoop’s slightly younger than me, and I know wmheel, CFord, and HY2012 are, but other than that, I think I’m one of the youngest people on this board, and I’m a few months away from turning 50. Bunch of old folks here.
I believe i read he had to go vegan when he moved out on his own, since he had no formal training in how to cut his meat.
Maybe they let him pick?Agree, lazy choice. Do better!
I know he won’t order a portobello mushroom, that’s for sure.I believe i read he had to go vegan when he moved out on his own, since he had no formal training in how to cut his meat.
"should" has hated us for years. Not breaking news at this point but Veesaar should be a Heel.
What was the backstory on that again?I know he won’t order a portobello mushroom, that’s for sure.
Thats easy to say. Why doesn't ever player just man up and make their team great?Maybe not, but great players make the best of any situation they are put into. Things aren’t always going to be laid out perfectly.
Get to work and try to be a difference maker.
I sure think that’s what the staff was trying to do.Thats easy to say. Why doesn't ever player just man up and make their team great?
Everyone isn't that good...most are not. Its a team sport...
Also, the staff should evaluate/develop/position the talent to make the whole greater than the parts. Do you think thats what we saw this season?
On his podcast recently, Theo Pinson said something similar about the spotlight at UNC.Did anyone else clock this from HD in his comments following Jonathan Powell's commitment?
"Then also, can this person handle the spotlight to play here? This is different. It's just different. And I'm not trying to distinguish ourselves between anyone else, but I am. The lights are bright here and everything that you do will be critiqued or criticized. And for some people it's very difficult. They can't handle that. So we have to decide if this person is able to handle the spotlight here and able to perform on this type of stage."
That feels like a pretty pointed statement and possibly (likely?) directed a recent transfer out of the program.
It feels like we're turning into Real Housewives of Orange County, NC.
Calling the SouthPoint area Durham is like calling a trip to Epcot’s World Showcase or whatever it is and claiming you’ve traveled the world. In Durham
Last night my wife and I took a twenty minute walk to the Federal. Great beer and even better food. I haven't been to SouthPoint in years.Calling the SouthPoint area Durham is like calling a trip to Epcot’s World Showcase or whatever it is and claiming you’ve traveled the world.
That might have something to do with Theo's career 3% of 25.7% with the career high of 29% coming as a sophomore.Theo said that every time he went to shoot a three in the Smith Center, he could hear everyone suck in their breath. Said he shot it better on the road lol
And that's just from the guys on Theo's podcast! On his podcast recently, Theo Pinson said something similar about the spotlight at UNC.
Theo also said the criticism can be sharp AND the love is huge. He said both come with the territory of the UNC program. He said the criticism of current players by former players can be large; but, it comes with love.
