He’s a spot up shooter who can pick a pass but can’t really create his own space, and a poor defender. He’s a utility piece, not an “excellent addition” imho.

I suspect he would be our leading scorer if he joined and I think there is a decent chance he would be Illinois leading scorer. There is a reason he is getting offered $3 million by multiple schools.

In the draft. Like Powell, unlikely to be able to get a deal done with any of those NBA hopefuls until late May or June.

Maybe I'm a hopelessly optimistic homer and/or naive but I feel like our roster has gotten appreciably better this offseason, if for no other reason that we will actually add at least 2 stud pieces to the frontcourt.

i like the frontcourt but we lost a LOT in the backcourt and on the wing and didn't replace with like talent, imo.

Might as well be optimistic. With so much player movement it’s hard to tell what’s what.

Yeah, that's fair, too, for sure. I'd be feeling much better with Jackson and/or Powell back. Hopefully the PG we brought in is an upgrade on the court from Cadeau- can't help but be in an upgrade in the attitude/maturity department I would think.

I haven't seen what our schedule looks like next year but I am really hoping that the OOC schedule isn't nearly as brutal as it was this past year. I feel like we never recovered from all of those losses we took OOC.
