This is currently my biggest worry. If Self retires out for health conditions and Kentucky fires Pope, suddenly every big-name coach will be a battle against two other blue-bloods. This is not good.

The wider college bball world seems more bullish on the chances Golden would take our job than I am (leaving aside whether the personal issues would scare us off). Florida has more resources than we do and coaches who are thriving with a recent national title win never move jobs.
