the problem with the thought process behind this hypothetical play is that a resignation rather than a firing is preferable for both sides.“Hubert, we’ve decided to make a coaching change. 100% speculation on my part, but I could see it playing out like that. Personally I wish they would just pay him the full buyout and do him a solid by framing it as a mutual parting of ways. I guess we’ll see though. I’m not getting bent out of shape about it until we get an official update and more
details come to light.
even though i think HD needs to go, UNC doesn't come out looking rosy in the scenario where they fire a beloved alum.
the goal here should be amicable divorce. pay the fucking buyout and act you have some class.
