At his age and lack of other coaching experience I doubt Hubert Davis would coach anywhere else - I could see him returning to TV as an analyst

Yeah, I get the feeling that he loves coaching Carolina but wouldn’t much care to coach anywhere else.At his age and lack of other coaching experience I doubt Hubert Davis would coach anywhere else - I could see him returning to TV as an analyst
I don’t really get the feeling that he loves coaching at all, even Carolina. He loves the idea of coaching Carolina in 1991 but that’s not really what’s happeningYeah, I get the feeling that he loves coaching Carolina but wouldn’t much care to coach anywhere else.
Yes, obviously.As an assistant.
These guys for Tar Heel Illustrated are saying from what they have been told with Henri is that it is a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks before he can come back, and he might decide not to come back if he is worried about getting reinjured and hurting his NBA stock.
They said Caleb may be able to come back in a couple of weeks, and he would more likely come back because his NBA stock wouldn't get hurt.
Sounds like the rest of the season and maybe Hubert are screwed.
Maybe Caleb for the ACC tournament, and maybe Henri can be back for the NCAA tournament, if he decides to come back.I would think at best the Duke game for either one.
Roberts is an agent of Art Pope. If you want to know his personal Project 2025 all you need to do is follow his foundation...an institution engaged in dragging Carolina down for decades now.

God must love it for it to be so common.Replies to that post are from fools. God the stupidity is so strong that it hurts sometimes.
Roberts is a Pope puppetFrom 2024: "Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts claims his work at the helm of the University is nonpartisan. Yet, for the last three years, he has received income from Variety Wholesalers, a business owned by conservative businessman Art Pope (a megadonor to Republican campaigns), while the two men served on the UNC Board of Governors together.”
Yep. Pope has wanted total control of UNC for many years, and he's finally gotten it via Roberts and a BOT and UNC System now packed with MAGAs appointed by his minions in the legislature, like Phil Berger. A New Yorker article way back in 2011 entitled "State for Sale" pretty much laid out Pope's plans to take over the state government and other institutions and it's almost exactly what has happened. Too bad not many people read it or paid any attention to it.Roberts is a Pope puppet
I don't know their political affiliation, but there is a hard core group of Belichick supporters who will defend anything that has tangental connection to BB. They are constantly fighting with the fire him yesterday crowd. I don't think politics has much to do with either side, probably a fair amount of cross over to be honest. Are all the MAGAs on IC and/or 247 still all in on Roberts like they were right after the Belichick hire, when they heralded that as a sign that he’s a great leader who will get things done?
He was created by Pope almost .To his credit Pope created someone that is his opposite-not short, not smug from a charming background, a pretty smileRoberts is a Pope puppet
Yea BB is different deal. My support for him is basically deserves time and my belief that talent is coming in and Petrino helps. Hubert, however, makes for some strange bedfellows. I am not necessarily buying that the maga leadership wants him out. I know a BOG member and couple trustees and they were like WTF. I will keep beating same drum. It could be ugly if we fire AA coach after season torpedoed by injuries to a lottery pk and first rounder. Also it will be we barely knew you Dylan Mingo.I don't know their political affiliation, but there is a hard core group of Belichick supporters who will defend anything that has tangental connection to BB. I think we could be fine. Mingo, his brother and Adams I think are contributors. Stevenson should be back and while yes, our guard play has been spotty, we should keep a couple of Dixon, Luka, Denis, Evans. High has even shown some upside. We will need a big..I'm not convinced vesvaar is gone. If he slips to round 2 might be better off in chapel hill than G league and making more. But we can buy a big.I feel like Davis was tracking towards having a good enough year to keep his job prior to the injuries and it seems unfair to pull the plug after he loses the top two players on the team at the thinnest positions. That said, next year's roster is looking pretty rough and maybe he can salvage it through the portal, but I have to admit I don't think it looks very good right now.
