I haven’t read it.Do not know. Haven’t looked. I don’t think anyone is disputing that trump is going after blue states in large part for political reasons. At least I believe he is. I also think it is a logical place to start. Sanctuary cities / states should draw large numbers of illegal immigrants.
Do you have an opinion on the cbs article?
You hedged and didn’t answer.Historically it has been left leaning so yes. New mgt. has made an effort to balance that somewhat.
Did you read the article? If so, do you think that article was pro trump, anti trump, or an effort to just report facts (neutral).
Where did you cut-and-paste this from?“While ICE law enforcement was being demonized at the Super Bowl, the heroic men and women of ICE continued risking their lives to arrest criminal illegal alien murderers, pedophiles and rapists from our communities," said McLaughlin.
According to DHS, among those arrested over Super Bowl weekend was Mario Rosales-Figueroa, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was arrested a few hours from the stadium in Visalia, California. The agency said Rosales-Figueroa was convicted of sex with a minor.
A few hours further away, DHS said that agents arrested Salvadoran illegal Luis Edenilson Ortiz-Lopez in Las Vegas. According to the agency, he was convicted of gross or open lewdness. Also in Nevada, ICE arrested Guillermo Arturo Ramirez-Londono, a Colombian illegal who is convicted of two counts of sexual assault on a minor under 14 years old in Lyon County.
In New York, ICE arrested Rudy Roa-Fuentes, an illegal from the Dominican Republic who was convicted of murder, and Anderson Mejia-Bonilla, from El Salvador, who was convicted of rape.”
“Not far from New York, ICE arrested Guatemalan national Eduardo Ramos-Domingo, who was convicted of aggravated assault, attempts to cause or cause bodily injury with a deadly weapon in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
In Wake County, North Carolina, ICE arrested Darwin Sorto-Pineda, from El Salvador, who was convicted of driving while impaired and assault on a government official.
In the Midwest, ICE arrested Wilson Perez-Guzman, from Guatemala, who was convicted for statutory sodomy/attempted statutory sodomy in Bridgeton, Missouri, and Tung Huy Nguyen, from Vietnam, who was convicted for gross sexual imposition in Steubenville, Ohio.
In the South, ICE arrested Mexican illegal Gustavo Alvarado-Sanchez, who is convicted for kidnapping and assault in Hidalgo, Texas, and Cuban illegal Carlos Manuel Legra-Ramirez, who is convicted for aggravated alien smuggling in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
“According to McLaughlin, 70 percent of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S. She said this statistic "doesn’t even include foreign fugitives, terrorists, and gang members who lack a rap sheet in the U.S."
She added that "this heated rhetoric about ICE law enforcement is leading to our officers facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them."”

You're either a naif or opium eater lost in dreams.I know. I wish I could be that blissfully cynical. I just can’t relate to that mindset.
Where did you cut-and-paste this from?
Give me 1/4 of the ICE budget and I guarantee you I would get 10x the results with 1000x fewer detentions of those who have legal status. Would you take that deal or do you prefer the chaos and misery model?“While ICE law enforcement was being demonized at the Super Bowl, the heroic men and women of ICE continued risking their lives to arrest criminal illegal alien murderers, pedophiles and rapists from our communities," said McLaughlin.

Pretty simple solution if you are local authorities...cut all utilities to the structure and revoke the certificate of occupancy pending appropriate inspection and recertification for the new use.i used to live 10 minutes away from where this is. Hudson Valley Rallies Against ICE
They want to put a 1500 person camp in a warehouse that is zoned for 150 people.

The The Washington Post reported that the Chester facility, formerly an auto parts distribution center, “became so unbearably hot during summer months that two people who used to work there said it was akin to being stuck inside an aluminum shed.”
The warehouse in Chester is currently owned by an LLC linked to former Trump Advisor Carl Ichan. Democrats have widely opposed the sale of the facility to ICE, including Rep. Pat Ryan (D-NY18), who attended the Jan. 29 rally. The Chester Town Board also passed two resolutions reaffirming its opposition to the facility and supporting legislation in the New York State Legislature known as the MELT Act, which would prohibit ICE agents from wearing masks.

Apple News. Is your inclination to not believe it? You hadn’t seen it reported?Where did you cut-and-paste this from?
now you are talking about methodology and tactics. On this we likely agree as much as 90%.Give me 1/4 of the ICE budget and I guarantee you I would get 10x the results with 1000x fewer detentions of those who have legal status. Would you take that deal or do you prefer the chaos and misery model?
