It's a one-way street with multiple lanes. There was absolutely a legal lane to go around her.
She moved her vehicle, about 1/3 of the way through the video, to maximize her blocking. Her intent, even if unsuccessful, was to slow or stop ICE from doing their job and, as the video also showed, people were apparently reversing down the street to avoid going near her.

I don't support shooting her, but I fully support available law enforcement getting her to move. "We" aren't obligated to accommodate her 'crazy', aka illegal, dangerous behavior.

Nope. Just make better choices as a parent. When my wife got pregnant with our first child, I stopped some activities and mosified others because of the risk of death or serious injury.
Soft-pedal victim-blaming is still victim-blaming, whatever you want to tell yourself. Interacting with properly trained federal law enforcement officers should not put one at risk of death or serious injury. The fact that you are obviously more concerned with the behavior of the murdered mom than the repeatedly demonstrated thuggery, escalation, and lying of ICE and the administration says all anyone needs to know about your own personal moral compass.

I think there were some narratives where the lady had just dropped her kid off at school and just happened on the scene accidentally or got perpendicular trying to turn around and leave before being shot.
She *had* dropped her son off at school and was en route home, which was nearby. It sounds like, based on what her wife has now said, that her wife wanted to go over to where the ICE operation was being conducted. So there’s not any question that she didn’t just happen upon the scene by random coincidence. She was certainly there because ICE was there. Clearly a poor choice in hindsight, but clearly there’s also zero room for debate as to whether it should have concluded with her being executed.

"ruin some narratives." about blocking the road or lane? Before we go down this path on how the victim is to blame. Can anyone tell me if she had not been executed, then what would she have been arrested for? A felony or something?
No way to know what she would have been charged with or if she would have been charged at all, but several similar incidents have led to charging people with conspiracy to impede or injure an officer. It is a felony.

Here is a story of a protest in Spokane. Some pled guilty and some are taking to trial.

Here is a story from California. They originally charged with obstruction but changed it to the conspiracy charge. Case pending.

Here is another from California. They pled guilty as well.

You guys are just looking for any reason to excuse this murder.
I’ve got some friends that lean hard right and they aren’t

And there is the lesson. You better stay away from ICE or we will kill you. And before you deny it remember there is already a post up here of an ICE agent taking a lady’s phone after threatening her (have the past couple of days not taught you anything? This isn’t wise!)
So a federal agency roaming the streets faces covered, armed to the teeth to arrest people just living life. I think the narrative they are only deporting criminals is destroyed. They are terrorizing the harmless.
Too bad Ike Turner is dead, he would be fabulous in this administration.

Completely agree she should not have been killed. Was just answering what some of the earlier narratives were.

Sure. Getting her to move is absolutely understandable. Has anyone here disagreed with that idea? The conversation is about her being shot. It was unnecessary, it is fucked up, and the administration's decision to defend the shooting fans the flames. Full stop.

And let's not forget...She was protesting of sorts the ICE folks terrorizing her town

Its looking like the narrative today on the Sunday shows is to blame the victim. Thus its her fault for protesting and getting in their way. Perhaps a crime, but its not like she rioted, and broke into the Capitol or something and deserved a pardon for being a "warrior". I guess protesting in your own vehicle is much more serious then being a "Capitol Hill Warrior".

When the only crime someone is charged with is a conspiracy offense that is usually reason for healthy skepticism about whether there is really anything legitimate to charge them with.

Just to add to your "getting her to move" comment. As has been noted, they still could have easily gone around her. And they could have even called a wrecker if it her actions REALLY were a problem. Their excuse narrative for shooting her just doesn't hold up.

Interestingly, it was the same charge that several hundred J6 rioters were convicted of. I know there are plenty of people skeptical of the legitimacy of those charges but I am not one of them.

I don’t really care if she was parked in the middle of the street, blocking traffic, standing on the roof of her car with a bullhorn, leading chants of “F**K ICE!!!”.

If she was preventing ICE from doing their “job” (rolling eyes) then local law enforcement should have been called in to resolve that issue. Anything that happened when the decision was made by ICE to NOT do that is 100% on them.
Correct. This is the morally correct answer. This is also the legally correct answer.

Thank you. Well if conspiracy is the crime, then in less then a year the punishment has moved from being charged with it to being executed on the spot without trial.
