I see no immediate or near future threat worth taking such a risk to our future and so antithetical to our beliefs than starting a war over religion. Screw that.

What little I post is nothing more than the other side of the coin that will never see the light of day here unless it is posted by a conservative. It is also a complete argument, not mindless tweets with no context or nuance.

When you get your news from Fox, etc., it shouldn't see the light of day. It's hyperpartisan nonsense. Fox News is basically the 'What have the Democrats done today that we think is bad?' news channel.

Thankfully iran's neighbors don't agree. What would make you change your opinion on not seeing a near future threat?

Somebody not Trump or Israel making the case. Neither of them have any credibility in the first place and particularly not in this case.

I can pretty much assure you that we have guaranteed unrest in that area for another century or next world war, whichever comes first.

I'm not talking about ancient Persia. I am talking about almost every Persian home I've entered in Southern California (the Iranian population in this part of the country is huge). It may not be 100%, but there is a very strong correlation between Iranian heritage and love of gold finishings.

There are so many reasons to take military action against Iran. Nukes. Rebuilding their nuke facility after we bombed it. Funding terrorism around the world. Slaughtering tens of thousands of protesters.

Iran is weak right now. If there's a good time to take action, this is it.

why does iran need nukes as a deterrent? no other country in the ME has nukes except israel (pretty obvious why). has israel expressed a desire to wipe iran off the map? north korea isn't remotely comparable to iran. north korea hasn't publicly stated their sole purpose is to wipe another country off the map and death to america. north korea didn't attack israel 2 years ago. north korea isn't sitting in the middle of the one thing on earth that drives the world's economy. this board seems oblivious to what would happen if iran actually used a nuke and the impact to our economy and the lives that would be affected by those most vulnerable to a bad economy. to think iran wouldn't use a nuke on israel is pretty naive in my opinion. we just disagree.

I'm not sympathetic to Iran in any way whatsoever. But where are the nukes? Neither Rubio nor Trump mentioned it. It was either Israel was going to attack Iran (Rubio) or Iran was going to attack Israel (Trump). Which is it? Who should I believe? You?
