It is China and especially Japan and South Korea that is so dependent on that energy. But I also don’t see how Trump can survive $10 a gallon gas here.

I don't automatically believe propaganda, and the statement from Iran was propaganda or just a threat. I'm not an expert in this area, but if an expert in this area says the regional prices have already hit a $150 a barrel, we probably shouldn't expect prices at the pump in the US to go down anytime soon.

More GOP Projection. He'd leap at the chance to negotiate a way out of this if Iran was interested. They're not, at least not yet, because they know how much they're hurting him (and us) economically and in terms of our international standing, so he's left looking like a clown on the world stage.
