Huckabee said there would be an "initial number" of distribution centres that could feed "perhaps over a million people" before being scaled up to ultimately reach two million.

"Private security" would be responsible for the safety of workers getting into the distribution centres and in the distribution of the food itself, Huckabee said, declining to comment on rules of engagement for security personnel.

The Israeli defence establishment was said to have assessed that the average quantity of aid that would have to be distributed as 70kg (154lb) per family per week.

… However, there are major questions over the plan's feasibility. The current UN system uses some 400 points of aid distribution, while the situation in Gaza is now at a crisis point, with warnings that mass starvation is imminent.

… James Elder, spokesman for the UN's children's agency Unicef, said the plan that had been laid out would lead to more children suffering, not fewer. He noted that civilians would have to travel to militarised zones to receive aid, meaning the most vulnerable - children and the elderly - would struggle to get there.

He said the decision to locate all the distribution points in the south appeared designed to use aid as "a bait" to forcibly displace Gazans once again. The UN says 90% of the population has been displaced during the war, often many times.

The UN and other aid agencies point out that they currently have tonnes of supplies piled up near Gaza's border crossings, ready to enter, if Israel would allow it to.

The highlighted portion is drawing the most attention — the assertion that the Trump Admin - IDF arrangement is really about using a famine caused by aid blockage to draw Gazans to food aid in what sound a lot like potential internment camps mostly in the South. The IDF would control who gets in and out and reserves the right to detain anyone deemed a security threat.

Now, that is assuming the worst about the limited available details. Perhaps (under pressure) the plan will be improved. All very depressing.

Sickening. Basically go into the internment camp or starve to death. They all deserve to go to hell for this.
 
I suspect there's a reason we've heard about Palestinian children and elderly dying of starvation, but not heard anything about Hamas terrorists dying of hunger. What's being described as internment camps sounds like a solution to the issue of protecting aid from being stolen by Hamas while getting into the hands of civilians.

1. Hezbollah's disarmament is going better than expected. Lebanon's government is clearing some areas faster than expected, and there were even instances of Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups surrendering arms and being arrested.

A. Rafah buffer zone is being expanded massively.
B. Rafah is being flattened and rubble is cleared. Ground is paved in a way that indicates a future tent city.
C. Netzarim and Morag corridors are being expanded.
D. Buffer zone into Gaza is being expanded.

4. It's indicated that the plan is to evacuate the entire population of Gaza to Rafah into the large camp being prepared. Aid will be distributed from just 1 location in Gaza, directly from IDF-controlled territory, in order to reduce thefts that allow Hamas to stay politically relevant.

5. New poll reveals 47% of Gazans are willing to leave Gaza if given the option. Small numbers of Gazans with foreign citizenship have already left via Israel.

6. The US initiated a massive strike campaign on the Houthis and recently stopped following a ceasefire announcement.

7. Israel and Houthis engaged more directly recently after a Houthi missile landed very close to Israel's Ben Gurion international airport, and Israel retaliated by destroying the Houthis' only international airport in Sanaa, and their sea port in Hodeidah. The airport is done for years.

8. Various mysterious explosions are occurring in Iran including in its largest sea port, during talks with the US regarding its nuclear program.

Yes I would say Israel’s unilateral annexation strategy is a much tougher situation. But I’m glad you saw No Other Land (rather than ignorantly protesting it sight unseen), you’re a good audience for it!

Actions speak louder than words. Just last week they were contemplating making it illegal to boycott or speak out against Israel. Imagine, in this country, we are allowed to criticize our government, but criticizing the Israeli government is a no-no. How does that make sense? Look at how many states have laws against BDS. In Texas, a school contractor was denied work because she refused to sign a pro-Israel, anti-BDS loyalty oath. Why is that even needed? Why is it in political debates the only thing the candidates agree on is how much they support Israel? Also, look at how much AIPAC puts in to elections for pro-Israel candidates or against pro-Palestinian candidates. No other country has this much influence in our politics.

Folks go to the extreme when they get angry. What’s in everyone face in this country is folks taking over university buildings, wearing masks, and destroying property. When someone sees that and is uninformed, they ask who is that? They are protesting Israel. Then people who don’t know the context and just want to live their lives in Oklahoma or whatever say I’m against those people.

True, but the pro-Israel support has been going on for years. The example of the Texas contractor that was denied a job happened 6-7 years ago.

There are damn good reasons for people to be protesting Israel. The current Israeli government is an abomination. Israelis protest their shitty government regularly without being called antisemitic.
