My point is that the Islamic Republic's weakened standing in the region has significant ramifications for Qatar who is harboring Hamas's political leadership and is acting as an intermediary for negotiations.

Israel broke the ceasefire the first day when they killed a little child that was with her father. Not to mention the other attacks they were still committing. Hamas was still releasing hostages based on the schedule, but Israel decided to pull out of the agreement.
 
Here's my question: who gives a fuck about hostages?

I mean, there are what, like 4 left? Meanwhile tens of thousands of Gazans have died. The Iranian blasts killed Israelis. The IDF has of course suffered casualties.

There are 50 hostages remaining - many of whom are dead. And clearly Israelis care far more about the hostages than you do. Regardless - and again - that isn't the only issue preventing an end to the war.

There was never an agreement to release all of the hostages.

If Bibi continues killing, he somehow stays in office. Once the killing stops and a 2 solution peace plan ensues, Bibi goes to prison.

Again, there was never an agreement to release all of the hostages. The second phase of the ceasefire was to begin with continued negotiations. That second phase never happened. Hamas refuses to relinquish control of Gaza and Israel refuses to end the war until Hamas is removed from power.

I'll just note, as I have before, that with ALL of the cries for a ceasefire and cries about civilian death/genocide, very few on the left are screaming for Hamas to release the hostages. It's all finger-pointing directed at Israel.

That's because the hostages are also affected by starvation tactics and the bombings. Maybe if they stopped those, then the focus can be the release of the hostages. However, Netanyahu has made it clear that he doesn't care about the hostages.

GHF is an Israeli front that is causing massacres of Palestinians daily because of the way they are running things. I'm not defending Hamas, but at the same time, GHF is not a real humanitarian group. They also have hired armed former ISIS thugs to run some of their operations.

You mean to protect them from Hamas/Al Qassam? Yes, seems like a great idea to me. I don't expect aid workers to participate in armed conflict, but I'm more than happy to see theocratic lunatics fight it out. Sounds like a win-win.
