it’s funny how the world is. When Fetterman was running just after his stroke, so many said it was fine and so many said he was unfit. He’s said a couple of things and groups on both sides have totally flipped on endorsing or criticizing.

The issue is and always has been that Trump should have just said we will see. It sounds like his initial report was wrong. It sounds like the 24 hour report from CNN was also wrong. It sounds like somewhere in the middle but no one is running around hoping the strikes didn’t work.

Good to know. Many Dems appear to be pulling against the US due to their hatred of Trump.

Iran has no air defense, so if we need to go in again we can and Iran won't even get a shot off. Iran must be shell shocked at this point.

There's no credible indication that the fire in Tehran a couple of nights ago was linked to Israel or was even suspicious.

Lebanon is a multicultural country with a diverse government, but hamstrung by invasion from Syrians, Hezbollah, PLO, and Israel. Leganon has been racked by civil war. Reagan and US abandoned Beirut and Lebanon in 1985 after the Marine barracks bombing. Iran used Hezbollah as a proxy in Lebanon. Syria and Lebanon have been at odds until the recent Syrian revolution. Despite declaring Hezbollah illegal, the weak government has not been able to regain control of Beirut until recently. The President currently is a Maronite Christian - the President of Lebanon must be a Christian. PM Nawaf Salam is Sunni. The people and government officials are well-educated, but their ability to enforce peace without US or UN support is limited.

The Lebanese government would be happy to be rid of Hezbollah, Syrians, and Israelis who have occupied their land and caused great destruction for decades.

Ive mentioned it before, but 2 friends of mine who are Maronite Christians and left Zgharta over 30 years ago. They lament what has happened to their country and have lots of disgust for invaders. They detest the Iranians. They despise the Israelis. They don't think highly of the Druze. They are suspicious of Syria. But they have the most hate for the Palestinians. They blame most of their ills on them.
