They aren’t negotiating in good faith. Hamas said they were negotiating about the hostages and they missed deadline after deadline. That’s not really negotiating.
You refuse to acknowledge what Israel has been doing behind the scenes to its surroundings states for decades. You also don't think the occupation and treatment of Palestinians may have something to do with that? It's not like Israel is some peaceful country that is being threatened for the hell of it. They aren't the victim.
I think the Netanyahu government is out of control but take issue with the suggestion that Iran hasn’t attacked other countries. Iran operates through proxies who have attacked US forces and others and Iran is providing weapons to Russia to attack Ukraine. The Iranian regime is a pariah state that is oppressing its own people — and I get that the United States has a lot to answer for how that came about.
That's not true. Hamas was following the ceasefire deadline, but Israel was the one that broke the ceasefire hundreds of times and then decided they didn't want to have it anymore.
It boils down to who you do see as the initiator and who is the one who has to respond. You think the Middle Eastern countries Israel attacks are responding to Israel. Most of the civilized world understands Israel has to be aggressive to stay alive. They absolutely push the envelope but it’s warranted.
The world is complex and there are bad people everywhere. I’m an American. We have to choose sides. The vast majority of the Muslim world doesn’t like/trust the US. Israel would never harm the US. It’s pretty simply for most humans. What’s best for me and my safety? Siding with Israel is a clear answer for most Americans. One side hates me. One side doesn’t.
Why is it warranted? If Russia continues to occupy Ukraine and mistreat the Ukrainians, they are justified to attack neighboring countries that oppose what they are doing?
You are unhinged and clearly your bias is blinding you if you think Russia and Israel are the same.
Remind me why there's no international regulatory oversight of the Iranian nuclear program to prevent them developing weapons.

Iran has attacked Israel through its proxies, particularly Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran has stated that it wants Israel destroyed and was secretly and illegally building nuclear weapons. That is not something Israel can let stand if it wants to survive.
Explain the difference. There are way more similarities than differences.
Ok. Again - we are the superpower in the world. We don’t have the luxury to sit out global conflicts on this scale. We have to choose a side. I am fine with choosing the side that values women, gays, democracy, etc.

One side is rational. The other side is irrational. So you understand who is who, Iran is the irrational actor in this situation. Rational doesn't mean perfect or completely innocent. But it does mean not fucking nuts which is what Iran is.
