Weird spot between Bibi, who obviously wants regime change in Iran, and Putin, who does not want to lose his drone dealer and provider of cheap oil to China (which Putin needs to keep happy) if there is regime change.

The past 4 days have demonstrated we have that opportunity anytime we want. Iran has had virtually no defense.

Why wouldn't they rebuild their defenses - perhaps with China or Russia's help?

Speaking of Iran being Russia's drone supplier, has Israel taken the drone factories out? That sure would help Ukraine.

Ok I don't like the sound of that. This is what we have to look forward to? No one does terror attacks as effectively as Iran.

If we couldn't subdue Iraq (1/2 the population) or Afghanistan, how is this supposed to fare better? If history has taught us anything it's that the only real way to achieve lasting regime change is for the people of the relevant country to want to fight for regime change.

Iran previously promised that if Israel attacked them, they’d destroy all US bases in the area.

Israel has blown up Gaza indiscriminately and I would never expect the Palestinians to forgive them. I haven't seen evidence yet that Israel has done the same in Iran. For better or worse, Israel's strikes in Iran appear to be exceptionally targeted and accurate, at least so far.
