Why, anytime someone brings up migrant crime, does someone always say "but they commit crimes at a lower rate than US citizens"? Well guess what....if those illegal immigrants weren't here none of the crimes they commit would ever happen.

Let me ask you this question. If a family member of yours broke into your house a stole $20,000 from you and then the next week, your neighbor's son broke in and stole $10,000, what would your response be when your neighbor asked you why were you worried about his son stealing 10 grand from you when it was less than what your own family stole? I guess you would say he had a good point and all is good, forget about the 10 grand?

Oregon has had vote-by-mail since at least 2000.

Their elections are clean as hell.
Two simple questions, let's see if you can answer them.......

1. Which form of casting votes is the most susceptible to voter fraud?
2. Which election had the record number of votes cast in that form?

Are undocumented immigrants really an existential threat to our country?

Because I don't see it that way. I'm far more worried about paranoid US citizen idiots spouting off about election fraud, and undermining democracy, than I am about some poor and desperate people, including whole families, trying to find a home where they can survive and live in (relative) peace.

If the 2020 election didn't consist of the most mail-in ballots in US election history, unmonitored drop boxes on street corners, voting long before election day, counting any votes that show up long after, do you really, and I mean really, believe Joe would have won that election?

46% of people voted absentee or mail-in. Everyone knows mail-in ballots are the most susceptible to fraud. And what, Joe won by a little over 40,000 votes total in 3 states?

But yet the Democrats, and their bedfellows the liberal media, would have you believe that the 2020 election with the most votes in election history being cast in the form most susceptible to voter fraud was somehow the most secure election in history of this country. LOL, damn....I guess a fool is born every day.

Well, Joe won and here we are, trying to recover from a deliberate clusterfuck at the southern border that this whole country (including you Democrats) will pay the price for forever, record inflation, massive damage done to the economy, businesses, and children from mandatory Covid lockdowns, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Isreal and Gaza, and on and on and on.

The Republicans better wake up a realize what they are up against with this new radical Democrat party. They have proven the extremes they will go to in order to try to gain and maintain power. But hey, you gotta give it to the Democrats, they will really go for it.
This is the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard. You’ve swallowed all the jizz, dude.

What the fuck...

Describe good candidate as you see it, because I cannot agree.

He was just lucky that he had the time and money to run for 4 years. That lots of uninformed voters like the macho make fun of other's type. I mean, look at our own Silence DoNoGood, he gets really excited to see others misfortunes.

Him winning says less about his qualifications as a candidate and more about our school system.
Him winning was effectively connecting with about 50% of the country. In the first case, it had to be the right 50%.

But despite getting lucky and winning against some pretty crummy democratic candidates, he basically had to come from a joke to a scam to a serious candidate to beat some really good Republican candidates the first time around. You don't do that by not having some skills as a politician.

Pandemicblue: No Kings

The retort to your silliness regarding 2020 elections is in your own handle: there was a pandemic that killed millions world-wide. Of course there were a lot of mail in ballots and drop boxes. Duh. Turns out that election was the most watched, safest, most scrutinised, and highest security election in our history.

Everybody but you remembers how Trump drummed up his oath-keeping proud boys to watch poll-workers, show up at the polls to intimidate, urge State elections officers to be on the look out for election fraud. There were more eyes and ears on the ground than ever before to produce THE MOST SECURE AND SAFEST ELECTION EVER.

And then what happened? After the fact came the most challenged result in history with recount after recount. Election result challenges. Lawsuit after lawsuit. States hand counting again and again. Election machines being challenged, questioned, dissected, reconciled, over and over.

And at every turn it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, the election results were verified in every single State, time and again. Even the reddest States confirmed the results, Much to the chagrin of you and mags nation… oh well. Suck it up buttercup.

As far as the remainder of your talking points, the only reasonable retort to all of that B.S. has already been given: you literally drank all of the jizz didn’t you? How many right-wing wacko radio shows and podcast do you listen to daily? All of them? It’s easy to tell your TV set is locked in on not just Fox News, but all of the other maga networks.

Bless your heart. You’ve been conned and swindled and you can’t see it.
We would feel sorry for you, but you’ve been too much of an arsehole in your comments for any sympathy. It’s pathetic really.

No, he has skills as a reality show host in a broken chimney that worships celebrity.

My take on GQPers is as follows :

1/3 of Trump's supporters are "hard" bigots. They fly the Confederate flag, casually and angrily use the N-word, and openly express hatred and ill will toward all minority groups... Hispanics, LGBTQ, et al

2/3 of Trump supporters are "soft" bigots. They may express antipathy toward minority groups among themselves but never in public. They take offense when anyone suggests they are bigoted. Also, they are less concerned about brown hordes invading the country and are much more concerned about fattening their wallets. They are what used to be called "country club" republicans

and then there is a GQPer group that does not support Trump per se. They are uninformed and just blindly vote for anyone with an R beside their name.

Interesting theory. Have you put any thought into trying to break it down a little further between demographic groups? Where do these groups fall?

8 in 10 Trump voters were white.

My guess would be 3 were hard bigots and 4 were soft bigots and 1 made up the uninformed voters who reflexively vote for the R

Trump did do a bit better than 2020 among Hispanics who were concerned about fellow Hispanics crossing the border to compete for jobs and liked Trump's machismo

Trump did do a bit better than 2020 among young black men but not young black women. My guess is that young black women are experiencing greater opportunity and success in the job market which may be creating resentment among some young black men... but that is just speculation on my part;)

Ie, it’s still chalked full of resentment and bigotry.

Keep waiting to hear all the Dems apologize to Hur for labeling Biden as an “elderly man with a failing memory.” Hur could not have been more gentle in his questioning.

How is that going to fix the trump economy, where trump is trying to shame Wal-Mart into not raising prices on lies social (Trumps media network).

The man is a grifter. His entire reason for being president is to enrich himself and his family, he doesn't give a fuck if poor people can afford any dolls or pencils as long as someone else is buying him planes and buying is mem coin, which is clearly just money laundering to the trump dictator family.

None of the shit with Biden matters now. Hell you would think that republicans would be happy that Biden didn't step down at the mid term. A better candidate would have probably kept us from having to suffer through four more years of the orange narcissist turd.

I mean, you have to be proud of a president that doesn't know if he's suppose to protect and enforce the constitution, right? One that has so little economic understanding that his policies are hurting the things that has made us the strongest economy in the world. That makes republicans proud, doesn't it?

Maybe republicans like that trump is pushing policy that could make digital coin the standard of the future, right? Is that why he's working so hard to tank the dollar? I mean why would the President of the US want a weaker dollar? I'm sure republicans love their buying power decreasing so that trump family can get even richer, right?

Or maybe the republicans love the tax cuts, that would allow a person making millions to keep an extra $90K while the poor lose their Medicare. I mean fuck the poor, right? It's their own fault they are poor, right? Isn't that the republican boot strap mentality? If you don't work hard enough to be rich then no one cares about you?

Come on republicans, tell us about all of your favorite policies. We concede that Biden is a vegetable and we promise to never vote for him again. We concede that Harris was a black woman therefore she had to be a DEI VP, we promise to not vote for her again either.

Just lay out the republican plan and the great policies and how they are going to help the top two present. Since we are a nation of reality show tv star worshipers, it will be even better when we have more billionaires. Trump will probably require them to have a reality tv show just to pay us back for helping them become billionaires. Let us eat cake, right?

I mean, we spent years investigating the Biden crime family, never to really prove anything, but Biden and Hunter should probably still be sent to Siberia for not being transparent. (Thanks Mike Johnson, so glad that you are transparent) Trump is basically taking direct payments using his meme coin and the party that wanted to see hunters dick and put him in jail doesn't seem to care at all. I guess Mike Johnson has already seen trumps dick, so he's happy that trump is transparent with his corruption.

Yeah, Trump's coalition is still overwhelmingly white, and most of those are non-college educated whites. According to the Brookings Report analysis of the 2024 election I've linked below, fully 84% of Trump voters were white. Conversely, only 66% of Harris voters were white, which is a clear indication of which party's voting base is more diverse across all demographic groups. Republicans can brag all they want about how they got a slightly larger share of the minority vote (mostly Latino men) but the bottom line is that the vast majority of his base remains working-class whites whose fortunes have declined over the past thirty or forty years and are bitter and resentful at those who have benefited from the new global free trade marketplace - namely college-educated urban blue-state voters of any racial stripe. It certainly explains all of the GOP's attacks on experts, credentials, qualifications, "elites" (really just another term for the upper middle class/professional classes), free trade, etc.

Link: Trump gained some minority voters, but the GOP is hardly a multiracial coalition
