Why, anytime someone brings up migrant crime, does someone always say "but they commit crimes at a lower rate than US citizens"? Well guess what....if those illegal immigrants weren't here none of the crimes they commit would ever happen.
Two simple questions, let's see if you can answer them.......Oregon has had vote-by-mail since at least 2000.
Their elections are clean as hell.
Let me ask you this question ...Why, anytime someone brings up migrant crime, does someone always say "but they commit crimes at a lower rate than US citizens"? Well guess what....if those illegal immigrants weren't here none of the crimes they commit would ever happen.
Let me ask you this question. If a family member of yours broke into your house a stole $20,000 from you and then the next week, your neighbor's son broke in and stole $10,000, what would your response be when your neighbor asked you why were you worried about his son stealing 10 grand from you when it was less than what your own family stole? I guess you would say he had a good point and all is good, forget about the 10 grand?
This is the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard. You’ve swallowed all the jizz, dude.If the 2020 election didn't consist of the most mail-in ballots in US election history, unmonitored drop boxes on street corners, voting long before election day, counting any votes that show up long after, do you really, and I mean really, believe Joe would have won that election?
46% of people voted absentee or mail-in. Everyone knows mail-in ballots are the most susceptible to fraud. And what, Joe won by a little over 40,000 votes total in 3 states?
But yet the Democrats, and their bedfellows the liberal media, would have you believe that the 2020 election with the most votes in election history being cast in the form most susceptible to voter fraud was somehow the most secure election in history of this country. LOL, damn....I guess a fool is born every day.
Well, Joe won and here we are, trying to recover from a deliberate clusterfuck at the southern border that this whole country (including you Democrats) will pay the price for forever, record inflation, massive damage done to the economy, businesses, and children from mandatory Covid lockdowns, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Isreal and Gaza, and on and on and on.
The Republicans better wake up a realize what they are up against with this new radical Democrat party. They have proven the extremes they will go to in order to try to gain and maintain power. But hey, you gotta give it to the Democrats, they will really go for it.
Him winning was effectively connecting with about 50% of the country. In the first case, it had to be the right 50%.What the fuck...
Describe good candidate as you see it, because I cannot agree.
He was just lucky that he had the time and money to run for 4 years. That lots of uninformed voters like the macho make fun of other's type. I mean, look at our own Silence DoNoGood, he gets really excited to see others misfortunes.
Him winning says less about his qualifications as a candidate and more about our school system.
No, he has skills as a reality show host in a broken chimney that worships celebrity.Him winning was effectively connecting with about 50% of the country. In the first case, it had to be the right 50%.
But despite getting lucky and winning against some pretty crummy democratic candidates, he basically had to come from a joke to a scam to a serious candidate to beat some really good Republican candidates the first time around. You don't do that by not having some skills as a politician.
Interesting theory. Have you put any thought into trying to break it down a little further between demographic groups? Where do these groups fall?My take on GQPers is as follows :
1/3 of Trump's supporters are "hard" bigots. They fly the Confederate flag, casually and angrily use the N-word, and openly express hatred and ill will toward all minority groups... Hispanics, LGBTQ, et al
2/3 of Trump supporters are "soft" bigots. They may express antipathy toward minority groups among themselves but never in public. They take offense when anyone suggests they are bigoted. Also, they are less concerned about brown hordes invading the country and are much more concerned about fattening their wallets. They are what used to be called "country club" republicans
and then there is a GQPer group that does not support Trump per se. They are uninformed and just blindly vote for anyone with an R beside their name.
8 in 10 Trump voters were white.
Ie, it’s still chalked full of resentment and bigotry.8 in 10 Trump voters were white.
My guess would be 3 were hard bigots and 4 were soft bigots and 1 made up the uninformed voters who reflexively vote for the R
Trump did do a bit better than 2020 among Hispanics who were concerned about fellow Hispanics crossing the border to compete for jobs and liked Trump's machismo
Trump did do a bit better than 2020 among young black men but not young black women. My guess is that young black women are experiencing greater opportunity and success in the job market which may be creating resentment among some young black men... but that is just speculation on my part![]()
How is that going to fix the trump economy, where trump is trying to shame Wal-Mart into not raising prices on lies social (Trumps media network).Keep waiting to hear all the Dems apologize to Hur for labeling Biden as a “elderly man with a failing memory.” Hur could not have been more gentle in his questioning.
Yeah, Trump's coalition is still overwhelmingly white, and most of those are non-college educated whites. According to the Brookings Report analysis of the 2024 election I've linked below, fully 84% of Trump voters were white. Conversely, only 66% of Harris voters were white, which is a clear indication of which party's voting base is more diverse across all demographic groups. Republicans can brag all they want about how they got a slightly larger share of the minority vote (mostly Latino men) but the bottom line is that the vast majority of his base remains working-class whites whose fortunes have declined over the past thirty or forty years and are bitter and resentful at those who have benefited from the new global free trade marketplace - namely college-educated urban blue-state voters of any racial stripe. It certainly explains all of the GOP's attacks on experts, credentials, qualifications, "elites" (really just another term for the upper middle class/professional classes), free trade, etc.8 in 10 Trump voters were white.

I apologized to Hur. And sent him a check. Beautiful man. Big beautiful man. I had tears in my eyes.Keep waiting to hear all the Dems apologize to Hur for labeling Biden as an “elderly man with a failing memory.” Hur could not have been more gentle in his questioning.
