The Jan 6th prosecution really didn’t move the needle. It was Bragg’s case that caused Trump to gain 10 points in the polls and basically put an end to DeSantis’ campaign. All the new cases filed after Bragg didn’t affect Trump’s popularity.

And the Bragg case really was the dumbest of all the cases and the least worthy of prosecution.

I thought Willis in Georgia had the most serious case and was the most incompetent lawyer and administrator. Really wish we had someone that was more professional. We may have it now as she got kicked off the case pending appeal because of the appearance of impropriety but if we had somebody good to begin with, trial may have already started and possibly even concluded.

I find it entirely interesting that all of this furor about Biden's mental incapacity (which was pretty obvious) is mostly being pushed by people who completely ignore that Trump suffers from exactly the same. Just because Trump is louder and more belligerent doesn't make him any more lucid. The man is completely and totally disconnected from any semblance of reality.

But James symbolized lawfare by her open and vocal promises to "get Trump" during her election campaign and by her sitting in the courtroom each day to glare at Trump. Bragg was more low key and more reluctant to bring criminal charges against Trump. Plus, she got things started with the civil case followed by the coordinated indictments and raids in 2023 which consolidated and hardened Trump's support. Until lawfare, Republicans were drifting towards DeSantis.

I could go with either Bragg, James or Willis for the 2nd person, other than Dr. Jill, who did more to re elect Trump.

People are also racist as hell. But the amount of FAFO we are seeing does speak to the stupidity with which so much of America is voting.

Look: Trump is doing what he said he was going to do. His approval ratings have plummeted as a result. People are getting what they voted for and it turns out they hate it. What conclusion do you draw?

I'd say Trump selling out American interests for his own filthy and obvious corruption is far more egregious and far more of a betrayal. The entire administration is corrupt to its core.
