But at least his loyal followers like Calla and Rammy are enjoying themselves, so it's all worth it. I will say that this parade seems to perfectly symbolize Trump's second term - Dear Leader himself ignores the consequences of his disastrous shitshow of a second term so far and instead focuses on trivial crap at which he is the center of attention. Suits him perfectly - and it only cost at least $50 million in taxpayer dollars, minus the additional costs of cleanup, police protection, and repairing any damage caused to DC streets. Whatever happened to cutting government costs? I'm sure all of those people who lost their jobs and public service careers thanks to DOGE will love coming to the parade and realizing that money could have been used to help them keep their jobs.Millions protesting in the street, an ongoing manhunt for man who assassinated political leaders in US, Israel and Iran in all out war, a US oil refinery has blown up - and they’ll be time for all that, but for now the President has a perade to enjoy.
Led by a pussy ass draft dodger that sucks Putins cock. So patrioticThis parade is NOTHING like a Soviet/North Korean parade. Lots of history and USA pride. Like the Army v Navy game.
A parade is the most patriotic thing you've ever seen? Jesus, that is sad. Go volunteer at a Veterans event sometime. Go and watch the changing of the guard at Arlington. Go to a Flight of Honor. There are 100 things daily just in NC that are far more patriotic than a parade. The most patriotic thing I've ever seen.
Congrats to Trump for doing this celebration for the US Army .
It was "patriotic" because it owned the libs and pissed them off, so he's thrilled. And they flew the flag - all to honor a draft dodger on his birthday who has ridiculed veterans as "suckers" over and over. And it cost at least $50 million, which contradicts the whole DOGE cutting the budget and saving taxpayer money thing, but what the hell - it really pissed off liberals, so by definition it must have been good.A parade is the most patriotic thing you've ever seen? Screw that D-day stuff. This parade is the true display of patriotism. The most patriotic thing I've ever seen.

I take it you weren’t present for ramrouser’s selective service registration signing ceremony. The most patriotic thing I've ever seen.

I appreciated the history. The soldiers riding seemed to enjoy it. The ones marching not so much.I haven’t seen any video yet. But just listening on the radio it seemed relatively tame. Not like the Russian parades.

Problem is Trump is still a pos pussy draft dodger. As poorly as the day began, with the shooting, I’m just glad that there was enough peaceful protesting AND celebrating of the armed forces to feel good about America, no matter what your political persuasion.
And that doesn't detract from a single thing I posted - the money that was wasted (what about DOGE and saving money?), that Trump is a draft dodger who has publicly and privately disparaged veterans (especially wounded ones) on numerous occasions, and that Trumpers loved the parade in large part because it pissed off liberals. And don't fool yourself - it wasn't done to celebrate "250 years of sacrifice, determination, and service" by our military - it was done to celebrate Dear Leader on his birthday. Strange how Trump chose to celebrate all this on his birthday, no? Why not Veterans Day or Memorial Day or the 4th of July?Fetterman: Military parade comprised of ‘the very best of us’
"
Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) said that President Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, is comprised of the “best of us” and that it should be celebrated regardless of where one might stand on the political spectrum.
“This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers—the very best of us,” Fetterman wrote in a Saturday post on social media platform X. “Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service.”
Fetterman demonstrated rare Democratic support for the parade that is taking place on Trump’s 79th birthday."
This might be the best thing ever posted on this site.I take it you weren’t present for ramrouser’s selective service registration signing ceremony.
Fetterman has fallen head first into post stroke delusional brain damage; he’s not to be trusted, by any party. That the woofie thinks conjuring his name is a gotcha, indeed, does the opposite.
