Jesus Effing Christ. Is he going to just sneak in one night and tear down the JFK Center like he did with the East Wing and then try to build some gaudy, crass, gilded monstrosity in its place? He's clearly so egomaniacal and narcissistic that he's determined to rebuild Washington DC in his image - the huge victory arch he wants to build that will actually block views of the Lincoln Memorial and other presidential monuments (which fits his ego perfectly), the massive new East Wing/Ballroom that will be much larger than the WH itself, and now this with the JFK Center. And you know that all of these things will be low-class redneck vulgar gold gilded crap. And what he's betting is that none of his successors will tear any of it down, but if he follows through with this ridiculousness I do hope that his successors will tear it down and/or restore the original names anyway. He's like a bad dream that just won't go away.
