you guys don't actually listen to cJones, do you?
Yeah, I don’t, not for football. He’s specifically said previously that he doesn’t care about UNC football and isn’t connected on the football side. Oldastheheels was the only one that really piqued my attention as he is probably the best insider ever on IC.

So he's senile. Great.
If that is really the way it went down, people need to pull him aside and tell him its time to go.

I'm sure Mack has been on the wrong side of a beat down in his career a few times. I can't imagine a coach with his resume who is still with it would do something like that after a tough loss. There has to be something else going on.

You can't let JMU hang 70 on you. I mean, it's not VaTech or even Virginia. It's James Freakin Madison. Might as well be VMI or VCU. Old Dominion. Lynchburg, (I don't think they have a football team)
Mack should be gone first thing Monday morning if even just for that. It matters not what you did 2 ,3, 4 year ago... or even what you can rally and potentially pull off this year.
Any head coach of UNC that allows JMU to hang 70 on you? You're ass should be grass the very next day... not at the end of the season - not even at the end of the week... the very next, damn day. Period.
This team actually went undefeated in the regular season last year and beat Virginia last year. I think you don't know much about college football and just think a name like James Madison means they must suck. This team is way better than the dregs of the ACC. We still shouldn't be losing to Sun Belt teams in general but it's pretty apparent you don't know diddly squat about this sport.

Uhhhhhhhhhh
Mack is such drama queen with that shit, always has been. I've said this as a duke fan on this site. Mack doesn't know what time zone he is in. He wasted or he and Bubba wasted two 1st round QB's and he is still there. You have the facilities, the history "in basketball" and the donors to be a force in college football. You should hire that JMU coach, sign him to eight years, give him the backing and sit back and watch the future. That dude will produce.

Hey, y'all want me to resign then I'll do it.

No, coach. Don't go.

OK, you twisted my arm. I'll stay.
Yep, he was fishing for player support to remain, and evidently he got it. I doubt it will save him at the end of the season, especially if we do as poorly in our remaining games as it now seems we will, but I do think that was what he was aiming for in his locker room talk.

Clearly you didn't pay attention either. JMU lost 10 players that transferred to Indiana with CIgnetti left. According to the new head coach, the lost 96% of the production from last year. They lost their starting QB, their toe 3 leading receivers, as well as multiple starters on both sides of the line. Were they good last year? Absolutely, but lets not pretend that past success is a preview of future success. Garner-Webb held them to less than 285 yards of total offense and only 13 total points last week.

They scored 13 fucking points against Gardner Webb.

Miss me with that nonsense.

Gardner-Webb didn't hold them to shit. They were a 36.5 point favorite with a coaching staff that knew they could not lose and were smart enough not to show one iota of their playbook until today. And Vegas doesn't even make you a 36.5 fav against ANYONE unless they know you have the chops. And I don't care who they lost either. All these high level teams in lower conferences are just picking up the 3 and 4 star guys that didn't get the playing time they wanted in the Power 4. See, for example, 4 star UNC player Pettaway. The days where every ACC team should whip the hell out of every non power 4 team are over. Bottom line is the best team in the Sun Belt will usually whoop the bottom half of the ACC in the transfer era.

That doesn't excuse the performance. It was potentially the worst half of football I've ever seen a team play. But I take exception to some dimwit stuck in the 80s coming on here and acting like we got whooped by a community college. That team would give every team in the ACC fits and beat most of them.

And score 70 on them?
